I found Royce Peterson

-
I found Royce and he is a really swell guy. Because of his expert advice I now have a beautiful period correct brass ended speedometer cable and its housing on its way to my 15 Touring. No more insults from Original Smith, at least surrounding this part of my car.
Royce's website is posted above.

I went with the "Romona T.B." temporary-permanent fix. High temp gasket silicone. So far it's not leaking. I will fill the oil pan up to the upper petcock until such time I need to pull the engine for other reasons. Thank you all for your generous guidance.

Petcock insert spinning in the oil pan. Do I need to pull the engine?

What "Parts" would I need to install a starter on my 1915 Touring

- Hello fellow Model T-ers, I have been hand cranking my 1915 Touring for a full year now and think it's time to give it an electric starter. I was hoping to compile a list of all necessary parts so that I may have them on hand before I ask someone to assist me with this effort. Fortunately, during ...

Hey Larry,

I need your help. There is a completely original 1909 touring for sale in Connecticut. I am traveling right now. Would you please do me a favor and buy it for me, and have it shipped to Los Angeles, and polish the brass for me. I will pay you back.

Hello Charlie B.
In answer to your question, yes, it did start with the new timer installed. But, it took 30+ cranks and a qualified Model T-er at the steering wheel while I was ruining my arm up front. And then just barely.

Why won't my 1915 engine start unless I tow (bump-start) the car.

- Hello fellow Model T-ers, I just put a brand new reproduction New Day timer (from Spokane, WA) on my 15 Touring.
