The Long Beach Model T Club has a new car among its ranks.
A 1924 Paco Bodied Race Car powered by a 16 valve C Type Roof head. It arrived from Oregon last week.
It will represent our Chapter at the MTFCSD Endurance Run in Borrego Springs next month.

I just happened to stumble across this thread again now more than a year after its last reply. Reading through all the friendly comments from such wonderful Model T-ers renews and inspires my love for this wonderful hobby.

Maybe the manufacturer’s name is spelled “Sunderland”. I still need one of these break drums to match the one pictured above.

“Is this car still for sale” sounds like it’s coming from a scammer.

Would anyone have an alternative idea on how to get break drums that will work with and original set of large drum Rocky Mountain Brakes?

I am still looking for one of these drums.

I have seen this car in person and it is exactly what Ed is describing. I have recently done a full restoration on a 1911 Ford Touring. It cost me well over $35k, that didn’t include my labor, and it is nowhere near as perfect as this Torpedo.
