The Long Beach Model T Club has a new car among its ranks.
A 1924 Paco Bodied Race Car powered by a 16 valve C Type Roof head. It arrived from Oregon last week.
It will represent our Chapter at the MTFCSD Endurance Run in Borrego Springs next month.
Wish it luck.

Re: THE 2025 BAKERSFIELD SWAP MEET IS A GO

- 2025 Bakersfield Swap Meet location, Minter Field. If you like war birds then Minter Air Field is a great little place to go. Not too many people, easy to get in and out of, and surrounded by rich aviation history. The tiny airfield just east a few miles east of Shafter began operations in June of...

They are pursuing “Bill’s plan”. Therefore, at this point in time, there is no reason to think that the 2025 Baker...

When I bumped into Jay at the Holiday Motor Excursion, I asked him if he owned a Model T Ford. He said that he did but didn’t know what type. Maybe he was just giving me the ol’ brush off.

NOTE:

Anyone who replies to a post with simply; “Is this car still available?” Is a scammer or just wants to chew the fat. Somebody who legitimately wants to buy a car it’s going to make more of an effort than just that.

Re: What Has Your Chapter Done in 2025?

Well Andy, Thanks for checking in. In Orange County CA we are in the process of rebuilding my 1926 Roadster Pickup’s engine. It was sold to me as a “tour ready refresh” but, as it turned out, came with a worn out engine. Needs most everything including new EE crank and babbitting. Our senior T-ers h...

Re: Lightweight Model T Hauling Trailer?

- I bought this 7’x12” Aluma maintenance trailer with heavy duty ramp to get my dad to tours on the west coast. (When it’s not raining) Weighs 750 lbs. Carries 3,500 lbs. Later, I built a cover out of 3x3 pine and 1/4” plywood just big enough to cover my 1915 Ford Touring. I call it “The Hillbilly T...

I have seen this car in person and it is exactly what Ed is describing. I have recently done a full restoration on a 1911 Ford Touring. It cost me well over $35k, that didn’t include my labor, and it is nowhere near as perfect as this Torpedo.

Anyone buying this beauty is going to know everything he needs to about a 1910 Ford Touring car. Unfortunately, such a purchase will also come with "scorn" from Pat, and those like him, which makes it harder for these buyers to feel welcome among our ranks.

I am looking for a “right side” mount Rube horn that is the mirror image of this one. Hopefully, in good shape. Would anyone have one for sale?
If needed, I have a good left side one to trade.
