I have some damage to my wooden top structure. Is it best to replace the entire wooden top, or repair the broken/rotted pieces? Also have some tears in top fabric and upholstery in the interior.

Thanks for all the feedback. I have ordered a Service Manual and will study it when it comes in. I also noticed that the bar that runs the width of the car underneath that is attached to the handbrake has two "O" shaped linkages at either end. I am sure there is supposed to be some hardware that run...

I do not have any brakes when using the floor pedal. When I use the handbrake and pull it all the way back it does stop, but barely. Where do I adjust the floor pedal? Is it under the cover on the transmission, which is under the wooden floorboard?
