How do you take this latch apart or can it be done? I see they sell the internal parts (springs etc) but I can't figure out it comes apart. It looks like it is welded together.

Sectioning rims

The rear rims on my TT are almost completely rusted away. I was able to find a couple 20" rims but one has a section that has several holes in it. I heard a couple of guys mention sectioning them. Does these mean cutting out the bad area and welding a new piece in? Of course it is the flat area and ...

By loosening the transmission band will that allow the pedal to extend further out of the transmission? If so, then the pedal can be pressed further down.

Re: More TT brakes

Thank-you Henry. After looking things over this morning, I think I can weld an ear on the bottom of the brake pedal and use part of the homemade assembly to operate the outside band. That is unless there is a better way. Earlier you mentioned obtaining a brake pedal, linkage and equalizer. If this i...

Re: More TT brakes

In our last thread you explained the left pedal, transmission brake and hand brake. I think that is what I have. But in my set-up does the right pedal also operate the transmission brake? Also could someone post a picture of the standard brake pedal and the brake shoe set-up.
