Looking for a used sleeve puller for a 27 car axle. I know I can buy one new but thought I'd see if someone had a spare to part with for less.

Re: Brass cleaner suggestions?
I have also used the soaking method on extremely tarnished brass with good results. My chemical of choice is white vinegar. It does give brass a copper look until final polish and I may have read somewhere that repeated use might not be good. Only needed to do it once now just keep them shined up. W...

Re: Some interesting accessories
The add-on wishbone is pretty common - it was changed after Henry had an upset due to the axle turning under when he hit soft sand at high speed. The event actually happened not far from where I live. I think there are some inaccuracies in the attached account (like the year) but you'll get the gis...

Sorting through a lot of T parts I purchased from a long time T collectors estate and came upon this linkage of sorts. Re: New to me 26 Touring paint question
Hi Allan,
I agree, the paint is in very good condition for it's age. My plan is to do a good cleaning and a light polish by hand. There are also a few areas that need attention around the cowl under the hood. These are the areas I will likely need to touch up.

Hi Lorien, I agree that the color is not a factory offered color. That said, the paint looks like it's in good condition. You could remove a door or something and take it to a paint store and have them match it for you, then get some to do your touch up work. BTW, I see you're in Wisconsin also. I'...

So not exactly a new T owner, I've owned a 1922 TT fire engine that is currently for sale. I recently acquired 2 new to me T's as a package deal from an estate. A 26 Touring and a 14 Runabout. Both were amateurrly restored in the 60's and are in reasonably good condition and I did get both running. ...
