High all,
I am planning to install a Atwater Kent distributer on my 1924 T and was wondering what is the best grease to use in the gear
Case where it meets the timing cover? I was thinking maybe John Deere corn header grease. Any thoughts? Thanks

Magneto coils
Hey guise, I have noticed several of you rewind your own field coils on the ford magneto and don’t remember anyone explaining how The fresh coils are attached to the coil ring. Do you use some kind of adhesive or are they a friction fit? It would make sense To glue it some way Thanks Jim. Explaning

Jefferson coil tester
I have a Jefferson coil tester with the power source missing. Can anyone tell me what was used to provide the 6 volts for
Testing the lamps and coil. I would think it would be a step down transformer? Did it uses rectifier?
Thanks for your input in advance.

Re: Back rest wood
Thanks to all who replied. I am leaning toward Poplar if the big box stores have it? Out here in the boon docks there is not too much wood choice available. I purchased the Ford wood kit a while back and there back rest strip was a black plastic of some sort. It is easy to bend to fit with a little ...

Back rest wood
Hello folks:
I was wondering what kind of wood you guise use or recommend to go around the seat backrest of a 1926/27 roadster
where the upholstery and roof material attach?
Thanks for your insight on this matter.

Has any one researched what kind of steel is used in the magnets for the alternator on the model T? It would be interesting to try to make one. Your input would be appreciated. Thanks Jim
