I had this rear end professionally rebuilt for my 1914 speedster project. This is correct for a 1913/14.Then a 26/27 Ruxtel came available and the early rear end is for sale. Today, finished machine work on front axle and spindles assembled and installed the complete assembly. Radiator shop called and my brass vee radiator is restored and ready for pick up.

I found one in Australia and had it shipped to the US. All in all it was not cheap but the seller threw in a RHD lower frame support. Can't remember the exact cost but the figure runs in my mind at $700.

Funny thing, I advertise Nationally and found one 20 miles from my home. Nice and complete 8 valve with push rods, manifolds, carburetor, valve covers and head gasket. Ready to install and light off.

As long as its complete. I plan on a major restoration of any head I purchase. I purchased one and it turned out to be for a 4 cylinder Chevrolet. So back to the drawing board.

good information. where does that put the compression ratio?
My Gallivan had 12 to 1 with no ill effects. It is now 8.5 to 1. Easier to start, still loud and very fast.

I have a 1917 non generator engine and wonder if a Fordson cross drive mag system will work? This speedster I'm doing will not have hood side panels when finished. Enquiring minds want to know????

I have 2 sets of late '13-15 nearly perfect front fenders, these are repo fenders and were on a 1914 speedster. They have been sand blasted and now in primer. I can take detailed photos of any areas you want to see. All 4 were on a speedster when it was restored. No rust no dents no wavey side trim....

Spent the day touring with the love birds, July 5th. It was amazing to see the both of them sitting side by side enjoying their time together with their model t friends. You could tell just being around them they are still the young couple in love.

I've owned a couple of 2 cylinder Reo's. My present 2 cylinder is a 1906. I'm very familure and can answer most questions. My nephew rebuilds Reo transmissions, makes new radiators, timers and water pumps.
