Thank you so much for the insight. Might have to put a can of freeze into the tool box for next year. I don't trust it not to do that again in hot weather, and don't want to finish run on a trailer again.

I drove my speedster once when it was 22 degrees out with some ice on the ground. needless to say never saw any red in the motometer :lol:

He is in California and has a bench mag tester that he got from Vic Salla. We were thinking condenser but dont those just go bad and quit working all togther?

Not to Hijack the thread, but switching from cast iron pistons to aluminum one will I run into a clearance problem with the Z head? Again my apologies for asking this question on the thread. I current do not have clearance issues with the cast iron pistons.

Is it me or did that tree needed to be cut down before it blew down? just looking at the branches etc. Yes I know hinde sight is a 20/20. my Guess Hank is you did mention it to your neighbor before.

Piston slap is not out the relm of possibility. I have the same issue on my tired T engine.

What about fishing line through band adjustment nut, in case it falls into pan. That is one I heard about.

They haven't used real maps in several years, which yes would be helpful.
I was suprised we didnt overheat with how hot it was out. Everything was fine until our Magneto quit working, then our day was done.

I would say if you are going through all of it, Scat and insert rod bearings, I would just run pressure to them

I have heard that the hotel prices have been jacked up due to some Golf tournament. Pebble Beach? Please anyone chime in if more info is available.

Those are sprint car seats in my speedster. They speedway motor. They do make snap in upholstery for them also.

The intake and exhaust manifolds came out good yesterday on nuthin special.

Daniel, I actually bought the car like that. it is roughly a 6" drop. the cut was made on the frame right by the fuel tank. I would not recommend dropping that low. The oil drain plug will scrape a speed bump. My opinion is 3 - 4" drop would be plenty. Front end is a suicide style. I will be happy t...
