Wanted: Brass era licence plate / tail light bracket like Neverout

I'm looking for a period accessory license plate / tail light bracket for our big 1908 Welch touring car. Patent dates may go later.

Anything like the brass Neverout or other period examples would compliment the car. Example on an EMF shown.

They are flat, spokes tight, pin drive in good undamaged condition. Hubs are excellent, no rust or wear. Hubcaps with good original nickle, lit...

Information on James (Jim) Zordich - Natural History Museum LA

Hello all, I'm looking for contact information for James Zordich who was a curator of the Natural History Museum in Los Angeles throughout the 80s and 90s. Asking as he might have information on a 1908 Welch motor car that he helped prepare, and my shop is restoring one of the remaining four Welches...

Re: Early Red T in Natural History Museum in Los Angeles

Hi Rich, This posting is old but I found it interesting to see the cars you photographed in the Natural History Museum in LA. My shop is restoring one of the four remaining Welch motor cars and we've been hunting for information on the survivor in the museum. They've just not been able to send us an...

Your help please, what is this tool?

Hi all, My dad and I have been going through his collection of parts and came across this interesting servicing tool. It was purchased with a large lot of Model T parts from a fellow Canadian Collector here in Vancouver so we assume it was meant for the cars. Does anyone know what this is? Wheel ali...
