Most of the T's I have found have a worn fan shaft and pulley and puke out whatever you lube you put in them..My case is this, I bought a new radiator from brass works and was running what I thought was a good fan setup after reading another post here I checked ...

I never like the look of that battery panel angled out so when I repaired the bed on my 26 I replaced the rusted front panel with one for a model A ...which fit great.....the battery can be removed from the under side of car....

Let tell you ...don't spray that stuff it will burn your skin...stripper needs to brush on thick to work good....I have used a garden sprayer...but no more...we used aircraft stripper with an accelerator and one pinpoint on your skin will set you on fire....the stuff is just wicked....

I bought almost same thing at tractor supply...it was a sand blast gun...but I use it to paint wood fence you adjust air pressure to adjust amount of paint that comes out and in 1 hour I spray more fence than 100 men with a brushes...

Steve, I bought the clamp years ago, never did work for me...use wires just be careful...I hold one end with needle nose and cut with side cutters then pull out the wire...works for me...

question is, has anyone else had this problem...me for one no....I get my long stem rubber tubes from langs and have never had any problems....some other suppliers the rubber stem is too short that makes it hard to air up...my 2 cents ...

I don't know how many types of screens are out there....but my screen does not drop oil on or even close the transmission bands...oil from the screen drops to the rear over the clutch spring and clutch shaft...there are 4 holes ahead of my screen and magnet located on a flat plate these 4 holes dump...

Madmax, Did you raise the front of the car to level ? If the car is level you may see a little more oil on the brake band...I am really glad you made these video's it proved to me that the screen is necessary and I am glad I enlarged the holes and may even make them larger....thanks rl

The magnet is one of the super strong ones and is 3/8 thick so it can't get out of screen ... it is so strong I have to pry the top cover off...it may be too strong ...but did you notice I have it wired in place....If I decide I don't like the screen like this my next step is to cut a slot like the ...

richard, all I can tell you is my rear brake drum was hot and I had brake fade....I drilled holes bigger and installed a magnet with a hole in it was able to get more oil to the rear drum and Now I have better brakes ( not as good as my F150 but better) rl

I am going to drill 2 more holes out to 3/8 and might decide to bring one even up to 1/2....and a note if you look close at the video you will see the screen area dumps into the rear of the transmission mostly on the clutch spring area and not on the bands that is why I did not enlarge any holes in ...

Update for my post ...I drilled two of 4 holes in front to 5/16 and 3/8, the 3/8 hole is directly over the brake band....I drove the car warmed the oil came back to shop removed the cover as fast as I could (under a minute) and used my laser temp meter and temp was 154 on brake drum the other 2 drum...

I do not know the age of the clip...strange thing is it was the only one in it...and the pressure plate bolts were not wired and loose...the clutch disc were about all sticking together and very blue...the truck was running fine the morning this happened went out after lunch and bang grind grind ban...

Dan, Your post on tranny trouble was great. Just go to show that a model t transmission does not like loose metal...two years ago my farm T lost a magnet now I am talking a mess! ....but they are easy to work on....that is why I love this hobby.....

Well I found out what is was a part of...transmission brake drum shoe...which let the steel clutches get bound up also..and took out two teeth on one triple gear a 0ne tooth one another...it's been a fun day...that's why they call it a hobby....Happy motoring rl

Ok, I made the tool (use a drill press to make mandrel hole) I did the deed and discovered something hope someone has an answer...one of the timers has pat. pending other has an S which to use? next two of the brushes are same one appears to be aluminum and is a bit taller you can see where is was g...

refurbish new day timer

After the 45 minutes it did not quit i shut it off....running fine...I will run it again ....does't get hot...full fuel...coils buzz good...ran fine before I oil it?

How much and what type oil should in the timer...I put a couple of squirts of singer sewing machine oil and my truck started missing and quitting so I removed the timer and wiped it out and ran 45 minutes no problems....what's going on?

I don't want to hijack your thread but I have run asbestos brake lining on tranny bands without any problem ...stuff never did wear out...that was before anyone knew it was bad for ya...
