Brass Never Out Bracket- FS

Here is a very decent brass Never Out Bracket. This is not an original but a later repop. I buffed it up a little bit and it looks like it will polish up very nicely. $85 plus shipping. Thanks Mike Bird mikebird@lifeattheridge.net or 574-584-6744 IMG_6808.JPG IMG_6807.JPG IMG_6806.JPG IMG_6805.JPG

Re: 7 Rivet Engine Pan

My 7 rivet has the plates behind the ears and the casting that goes completely around the hole.

Re: 7 Rivet Engine Pan

Interesting pan and the transition details. The front casting looks like the later narrow nose pans without the front casting going completely around the hole. Might be a really late 12 early 13 and or last of the 7 rivet arms being used up. Interesting

Clock mounting help

Here is a Phinney Walker rim wind with a angled case. How does something like this mount on the dash? It has a set screw on the bottom. I’m thinking that perhaps there was some sort of bracket that it mounted to in the firewall. Any help much appreciated Thanks Mike 3EC37EB4-9468-449D-93CD-431EACD77...

Re: Can you help identify these dash to windshield brackets?

Larry,
Thanks a bunch for the info. The Rands windshield that I have does have the internal spring hinges and the smaller upper half. Looks like I'll clean them up and get them re-plated. It's great to know that these brackets are original to the windshield/era.

Re: Can you help identify these dash to windshield brackets?

Larry,
Interesting! Thanks for the picture. Now here's another mystery. The Rands windshield that came with these brackets is not your typical equal half windshield. It has a larger bottom half and smaller top half. So we're these brackets only unique to the 09-10 year?

Re: Can you help identify these dash to windshield brackets?

I'm just trying to sort out what is what. These brackets came with the Rands windshield which I was told was on a Model T. From what I've read so far is that Rands supplied the brackets with their windshield. The brackets that are repop are just one of many styles that we're available. These bracket...

Can you help identify these dash to windshield brackets?

So I’m going through some parts and I have these brass dash to windshield brackets. I have two pair. They came with a Rands brass windshield. These brackets are for mounting the windshield sides to the side of the firewall. They look like they are for a Model T, but the length of them does not look ...

Re: FOR SALE - Stewart 1913 Cast Iron 2 and a Half to 1 ratio Speedometer Swivel Joint Professionally Restored

According to the Speedo book by Russ the only part numbers on these are 12 A and 12 B. The potmetal ones have the name Stewart on them as well as different 4 digit numbers to help identify the year. Russ's book does a great job helping identify the correct speedo equipment for the Model T. Definitel...

Are these the correct windshield support rods?

I purchased an original Rands windshield a while back and with it came the windshield support rods. I’ve seen other support rods with a bend near the top. These are completely straight all the way down. Can someone who has a 12 verify? One of the rods is heavier gauge brass tube as you can see in th...
