The valve cap seals the stem to prevent water intrusion to the valve inside the stem. The dust cap covers all to keep dirt off. Dust cap screws onto the rim ...

Diamond Tire Repair Kit no 6

I picked up this from what looks like a complete Diamond tire repair kit. There is still talc in the tube. It’s missing the two Diamond Tire irons. Period signage for delivery vehicles.

Looking for some photos of period signage that would have been used on any type of delivery vehicles 1900-15. Horse drawn wagons are fine as well. Looking for some ideas and styles to get a layout for my delivery car project.

I know there are some new guys on here from time to time, so I usually check thier past posts to see if they have contributed in the forums. If not I then proceed with caution, checking google image search. Sometimes the way their emails are written are a giveaway…

Re: Mount depot hack fenders

The fenders Rootlieb sells are the same as the 1910 touring fenders the difference is two mounting brackets or the single. The 1910 touring fenders used the butterfly bracket/fender iron that mounted to the chassis. When Ford made the Delivery car it used the 1910 touring fenders but with one bracke...

mike is the cover a stamping or a casting? also what is the material that the cover is made of, thanks Dan
Daniel, this is a stamping. The material is steel. It’s not as heavy gauge as the originals but it’s not flimsy either.

Can this tool be used with the engine in the car?
I believe so. Since there is very little room in a three dip pan this allows the user to connect the bolt to the socket and then turn it cranking it out.

Difference between early and late frame brackets for body brackets?

I have an assortment of frame brackets for my 12. These are the ones that are riveted with two rivets to the sides of the frame that the body to frame brackets would mount to. Some the steel is thicker than the others. Anyone know if the earlier brackets were thinner or thicker than later ones? IMG_...

I have this original pair of E&J tank brackets. The paddle section is steel that is riveted to the brass piece that clamps the top tank to the bottom tank. Were the steel sections brass plated or painted black?
