I have a 26 oldsmobile that still has the original 1926 spare tire on it hard as a rock. The car sat from 1929-74 74-2020 the original tires were rock hard and the previous owner cut them off the only way.

I heard about the leaks through the pushrods. The guides on top of my head look different from others I've seen. 4124 sounds about right for the BB head serial number. I'd be curious to what other A head serial numbers are. They said rajo made over 4,000 heads.

The B head came out in 1918. I found a number 270 stamped above the water outlet could this be the serial number, anyone else have a number there.

It has eight plugs 18mm you just can't see them in the photo, B's had 1/2 pipe thread. Does yours have the slanted casting by the fire wall.

I believe this is the BB head. It has eight 18mm plugs no 1/2 threads and a slanted casting by the firewall. The serial number is in the 12000 range.
