They were 1914 Models from memory and if I recall right the build quality of some components was/materials used, were poor. Specifically the engine blocks.

Yup - generally museums can, and do as they please…. Hence why I’ll be leaving nothing to a museum when I pass. I know as a family member of a city museum donor I can’t even get to view the family heirlooms they donated.

Our family 1923 which has been in the family from new (Canadian built, Timaru assembled) used Robertson screws. However I’m not sure of the years that did use the square heads.
