Perhaps if you contact the promoter of the swap meet, they may be able to put you in touch with the vendor in question. If you haven't already, you may wish to place a "Want to Buy" ad in the MTCA Forum classified section.

Re: Virtual Model T Tour

Spring is struggling a bit, here in Illinois. Last weekend it snowed. Until more of the yard is in bloom, I will need to content myself with photos. Here are more from the train museum on Prince Edward Island: 20190715_123805b (2).jpg 20190715_125003.jpg 20190715_125237.jpg SAM_1293b.jpg SAM_1294.JPG

I really enjoyed touring Prince Edward Island. Everything was in bloom during our visit. One of our tour stops was a train museum: SAM_1297.JPG SAM_1299.JPG I don't know what color they were originally, but lately I notice that many of the restored rural train depots seem to have this same color com...

Re: Rubber mats in a closed car

Home Depot type stores have "walk off" mats, the type you would put inside your back door, so your wet shoes don't track up your house. This one is a low nap carpet on a thick rubber backing: 20200417_133137.jpg They are cheap, can be cut to fit front or back, and can be removed and hosed off to cle...

Tom Bauer from Taylor Mill, KY., sent me a nice note in reference to a photo previously posted by Dallas: 20180923_111415.jpg Tom had a very similar experience when on a Covered Bridge Tour, when he encountered a tree that had fallen across the roadway. It was remarkable to him since he had traveled...

Tiffany Stone Bridge. This is the oldest stone arch bridge in the state of Wisconsin. It was built in 1869 and crosses the Turtle Creek in rural Rock County, in the town of Turtle. The bridge is still used by the Union Pacific Rail Road.

Dallas, next time after rotating both ways, try saving the photo with a new name. Then post the "New name" photo and see if that works for you. (Worked for me).

Re: Massacre (photo)

Time wise, it could have been a WWII scrap drive. A 1925 auto would have been 17 years old in 1942. It would also explain why the tires were removed as new tires were very difficult to obtain by civilians in WWII. My grandfather's first car was a used 1926 Studebaker touring car. It was still a good...
