I found a few brass ones. $10 each post paid. These date from the 1955 or so. The smaller one is thought to be for the 1913-16 era and the larger one is for some 1912 and perhaps 1911. address is listed above. I also have a few NRS and 1909=11 brass plates. same price.

Today they let in free any US Veteran, so I am going over there at noon. I served active duty from 1950 to 53 and in the Ready Reserves until late 1956.

The First Ford sold.

Not all correct, but interesting. Copied from the internet: It was on this day in 1903 that the Ford Motor Company sold its first car, a two-cylinder Model A. It was sold to a Chicago dentist named Ernst Pfenning, who paid $850 for it. The Model A was painted red, with a seat that fit two people, an...

any fair offer. I do not want to ship. Crating and shipping could run $500. If you have a friend close to me, they could build a crate for you. Shipping would still run perhaps $300 by truck. The offer should be around $600.

ARE THERE NOT THAT MANY real 1909s being restored?. The very first had wood boards cover with grey material. The 1910 came out in early August and the boards had a different pattern. Is there anyone out there that has a 1909 without correct original running boards?

I have for sale a nice pair of 1909 running boards. They are the steel ones with the long ridges. I have had them since the 1950s. They probably were taken off when a pair of NOS were found. Solid with smooth up side. the bottoms are not as smooth. The repaint is as found. The square holes are sharp...
