Ford River Rouge

The Rouge never built complete Model Ts, but it did make nearly every part that went into them. The parts were shipped back to Ford's Highland Park plant for assembly into finished cars. Not until the Model A, introduced in 1927, were cars fully built at the Rouge. I found this information on the He...

The Ford Museum built up a fake number one out of a late 1909 or early 1910. The engine came out ot the museum display. I remember seeing it on display in 1955 inside the former entrance to the Ford Museum.

The build sheet for number 1 indicates that the engine was replaced. It is possible then "number 1" became a later T, perhaps number 15 or 20.

I beleive that it was probably an early chassis from a two lever T. With out an engine. Hess then built up "Number 2".

Re: Any info on the very first Model T?

There are some serious questions about number 2. Donald B Hess "restored" the car. He was well known as a collector of early Fords. I sold me some NRS parts. He advertised several times selling very early Model T parts, so it is assumed he had extra very early 1909 parts. The Model T in question has...

Fan, ceiling, double rotating from 1920s.

This fan is sought after and has a following. Estimate by an expert was $15,000. This one works, I pluged it in. Sold as is, but seems complete. I would rather have it picked up here in Minnesota. Open to offers.

the lower hose connection should be the same 1909-27. It is the upper on that is 1909-16 and is shorter. There are some around. If you need the upper one, I will take a look ar my stash.

She now says she is out of the Model T material. I ordered my two masks right away, but somehow my order got lost. She said she had my order, but lost the address. It was that great Model T mask that I needed. I hope she finds my order or finds some more of the original material.

I was 14 when I bought my first car.It was a 1910 Model T Touring. That was 74 years ago. You will need to keep your T 74 years to the same, since I Still own and drive that 1910 T.
