Without going out to the shop to check for certain, that sure looks like the tail light of our '26 TT Factory stake bed. It is used in conjunction with the rear license plate bracket, for the clear lens to allow light onto the plate. Hope that helps.

Mr. Lodge hits the nail right on the thumb! Too many sections cause disinterest in others. Stimulating thought becomes lost, and less attention becomes normal. Kinda like sticking one's nose in an iPhone and ignoring the rest of the world. JMHO

OT - No longer surprising!

"Economics - 101", The Law of Supply & Demand.... Continuing Amazement! While reading the thread about the Jeep, Explorer, mini-van', Model T Pick-ups claims, (s'pose we might as well include politicians, too), it reminded me of starting my first day at E.F. Hutton - "Black Monday, 1987". Having obs...

Re: “Remember Me” and logging in fixed

Maybe, I'm just being paranoid? If I'm logged in, shut down my computer or put it into 'sleep mode' without logging out, couldn't that allow the Nigerian Princes or their friends to find access? Like I say, perhaps I'm being a bit paranoid, but still don't like providing them an opportunity. Enlight...

When something is rusted out, been cut up, gutted or stripped out, we're facing the crossroads of letting it rot away or to rebuild it as we may want it to be. That's especially true if it happens to be ours..... Just find that one with the 'original air' in the tires!

Re: 1925-27 rolling chassis to TT?

You'll want to identify 'what' you have. Measure your wheelbase for a start, also, the depth of the c-channel frame rails at the middle of the chassis are (thinking here) about 5" deep/tall, while the car and small truck rails are about 3" tall. You will quickly identify what you have.

Re: 1925-27 rolling chassis to TT?

-Hi, Ivaldes- Often misunderstood, "TT" is the nomenclature for "Ton Truck", indicating a more heavily constructed frame/chassis and load capacity. The wheelbase for a Model T was standard at 100", while the 'TT' wheelbase (at least for our TT stake-bed) is at 117" if I am remembering correctly. Man...
