Norm, I noticed that as well. He's a writer and driver, not a T owner. He misquoted me at least once. I told him that our 27 Fordor was obsolete when it was built, and he wrote that all Ts were obsolete when mass production began.

There's no need to remove the individual magnets. Lay the transmission on plastic 5 gallon bucket, magnets up. Lay a good mag ring on the magnets in the correct orientation using a compass. Re: If you could ask Henry a question ...

If he were to answer truthfully, the Dahlinger story has fascinated me. Evangeline's house still stands, and is likely occupied. Ford vehicles both current and past can be seen on the grounds. Was he really Henry's son?

Re: Painting Wire Wheels

Consider using the washers under the wheel nuts that vendors offer. They help keep the paint from chipping around the holes. The holes are very likely enlarged and the wheels flattened out a bit, where they meet the hubs. I've seen a lot of 26-27 T's with little peaks at the end of the lug nuts from...

Brent, not everyone has parked at the mall in the past. The parking lots in front of the museum have been used, as well as the one behind the Tavern. It has been my assumption that the bicycle, motorcycle, and horseless carriage people have been place in those closer areas. Clayton, I sure hope to s...

Jeff, the spider gears double the reduction, if one wheel is held stationary. Hold one axle from rotating, then count how many turns of the ujoint it takes to make the other axle shaft make TWO revolutions.

Tinner, our 27 Fordor is the second one Don did, after doing his own. I have learned from experience, that even kept in dry heated storage, all of the wood is junk in these cars. The original wood was not great quality, and even the best pieces of our car were as dry as a popcorn fart, and about as ...

The fenced area is not available for parking, as the Studebaker portion of the property is under construction. I'll likely drive the RV and trailer over to see Michigan Central Station.

Can you ditch the tow rig at THF and drive to Piquette? When does OCF parking open? Checking in begins Thursday, so maybe parking is open then. That's a good possibility I suppose. I'll have the 30 A Fordor this time. My experiences with travel between the Piquette Plant and the Village have not be...
