Just wondering, is the line of Strombergs a lot better than say a Holley NH straight thru? Are they worth it? Tossing around replacing a straight thru on the '26 touring. Thanks in advance for a reply. Wingnut

While I am a vintage Wingnut, I sure don't play like that.

I believe they are woodworth springs and do what John said. I had a set on my '24 roadster for a time but took them out when swapping an axle. Didn't really see a need to use them. Besides, if you accidentally put them in backwards ya gotta big mess, so I was told.

Don't do pics but snagged 5 wire wheels and four hubs for the '26 touring. Had them painted by a friend, got new Lucas tires, tubes @ Snyders. First ride the wife and I were amazed at the difference rode and handled so much better. Wingnut

Silver solder is the way to go, I did my 26/7 brass shell with it and then to plating at La Brandi in Pa. has held up for 20 years.

1924/ 25 Roadster spare tire carrier. Good shape just surface rust has clamp for hold down, asking $300 OBO pick up only and cash is king.
