I installed one on my 25 last week , have used it a dozen times, a much quieter sound engaging, so far so good.

Darin, I have been on a few tours with your Grandfather Roger, he was as interesting T person. Glad you have got it back on the road & enjoy it like he did.
Do you have the unique & rare trailer that he used to haul the T on, if you do please post some pictures of it.

I have a Z head on the 14 touring and a Prus on the 15 Speedster. Both are an improvement on the Ford head but I prefer the torque characteristics offered by the Prus. I think the combustion chamber shape is better and it gives more useable torque and better mileage. JMHO

I donated a tool similar to that one to the Museum, it was from a Ford Dealer in Richmond. I wanted it to be at home.
I know nothing of Stones Garage.

I had to do same as Dan did on mine. On another one it leaked about 3 inches up the leg with many minute holes in a 2 " area, couldn't see them but I could feel the gasoline , covered area with epoxy & still running.

I have the modern axle seals & immediately after a long drive I removed the diff: oil plug to check the oil level and heard a puff of air exit. That was enough for me to install a vent.
