Re: Warford Bearings
Ok, last one before bed. The transmission had a fair bit of oil leaking on it from where oil leaked past the shift fork rails since they exit the housing in two places each. The paint seemed to hold up to the oil well in some places but other places the paint peeled away in sheets (primer and all). ...

Re: Warford Bearings
Even among the cast iron units there are apparently differences so be sure to verify things yourself first. I question if there is not a typo in the bearing part numbers in the picture above As of January 23, 2026 the following bearings were able to be purchased Output Shaft: 32208-TIM Tapered Rolle...

Warford Bearings
I have had to get new bearings for a 920-1 cast iron warford this week. Old MTFCA posts were helpful, but I don't think there was anything recent so I will post some information to aid people who might be rebuilding one. This is old information that I am pretty sure was published directly by Warford...

Re: WTB TT rear tires 32
I have the 20" rims and run 6.50 R20 tractor front tires, they are not for high speed but what about a TT is high speed and they were under $100 (pre-covid..) I am not sure if that opens any options with the 23" rims you have?

Re: A $20 (or less!) DIY regulator, and other issues
I haven't made time to read on the forum in a long time now, but I stumbled on this thread last night (and consequentially reminded myself why I don't read often since 10pm reading turned into an after midnight bedtime). This is simply amazing work and has really taken on a life of its own! I think ...

One more time before spring
Some people can't wait for winter to end, but I generally find that it is the most enjoyable part, there is snow on the ground and the sunlight feels so great as it beats down. I think this past weekend will be the families last with the TT out in the woods on snow shoes; the snow up closer to the h...

Re: 2019 20th National Snowmobile Meet, Forestport, NY
Some updates and thoughts: While Chads skis are not originally made by him, he did spend a fair amount of time re-building them for their new lease on life and they seem to be working just great. There were around 20 vehicles there, all were running worm drives except one that had a T rear with Ruck...

Looks like 12++ inches this weekend, that will help build up the base a little!
