1925 model T Coupe spare tire mounting?
I took off the spare tire/rim off about 6 months ago but don’t remember how to remount. Have two bracelets near top and one bolt on bottom to secure rim then use bolt to tighten.

3 of the 4 bolts protrude past the need of the nuts about an 1/8 of an inch. Is this ok or should they be flush?

Re: Rear axle keyway
The T is a 1925 coupe. I have the tapered key facing not facing out towards outside of shaft. I have taken pictures with my iPhone and attached the pictures. Format issue. Appreciate all the replies and if someone has recommendations on who to attach photos will be greatly appreciated.

Re: Rear axle keyway
The Snyders is neoprene. It won’t go on any further. Probably wasn’t clear but it is the length not width. Can I file the non-tapered end down so the key fits the keyway?

Replaced housing caps with the Snyders outer grease seals. The key doesn’t fit all the way into the keyway length wise. Solutions please.

Re: Generator not charging on 1925 T
I bought the generator replacement from Lang’s old Auto Parts in Oct timeframe. It has never worked. I’ll call them Monday. Any suggestions on where I could send it for repair? Thanks.

Re: Generator not charging on 1925 T
Ron,
I tried jumpering the cutout but it was like jumping the 6.3 bolts to ground. The ammeter pegged negative.

Re: Generator not charging on 1925 T
Thanks for the inputs. Sent an email to company. Reputable dealer that most of you may know. I did remove the cutout and the generator and it is shorted to ground. Assume this is bad.
Thanks

Generator not charging on 1925 T
I bought a rebuilt generator but doesn’t show a charge on ammeter. Checked all wiring and seems to correct. Input wire to generator indicates 6.3 volts. Stud on generator no indicating any voltage. Do I need to flash the generator? Cutout replaced but didn’t solve problem.
