LOOKING FOR WTB GAS TANK SEDIMENT BULB OUTLET FLANGE
I am needing for an oval tank 1920ish, the bottom treaded flange for the sediment bulb to screw into. Mine is missing. If you have an old tank the is bad and the part is good, I would be interested in it. Especially if you can cut about 2 inches or more away from it so I can use it as a patch and ha...

Re: Best Way To Display Used Tranny Drums...
I also use Gibbs or 140w oil to coat my parts. Then I put them into zip lock bags. Last I use a 3 x 5 card with the name of the item and the specifications of the part so I do not have to measure it again to see if it is a good part. If you do this procedure, the part is protected and ready for use ...

Re: Cutting Down A Model TT Drive Shaft
What I mean about the drive shaft is not finished in the middle, it was not turned smooth at the Ford factory (there is a Ford stamp)
Les,
I will ask the machine shop to recheck the runout by clamping up 13 1/4 inches from the end to be cut.

Re: Cutting Down A Model TT Drive Shaft
Steven How much wear do you have where the bushings run? So you are going to remove about a foot of it and likely from the front end. If you chuck it in your lathe 3 jaw grabbing it where you will cut it off with the pinion end supported by a centre by the tail stock , how much runout do you have t...

Cutting Down A Model TT Drive Shaft
I am putting a Muncie 3 speed gearbox in my Model TT Truck. The drive shaft I have, that I am getting cut down to put the auxiliary gearbox in, has 0.035 inch run out in it. I was wondering is this too much for this drive shaft? I would like to know what your experience is in this matter is.

Just as a side note, this is what I do. When you figure out or know the amount that the head has been milled off the head, please stamp the amount that has been milled for future reference. Like -0.125 somewhere meaty on the milled side of the head. That way you will not have to remember it and the ...

You need to pull the engine. I am pulling mine this winter because I found a magnet clamp and some brass screw heads when I changed the oil this year. HALL SCOTT "Ruckstell" early Model TT Rear End Thrust Plate
I have a HALL SCOTT "Ruckstell" early Model TT rear end on my Model TT Truck. Yes, It does have the two gear spider instead of the later four gear spider. The cast name on the outside of the rear end says HALL SCOTT as do all the stamped internal pieces of the rear end (see first two pictures). Ruck...

Henry, I do not have any documented information on the different drive shafts or coupler. Just what I have read on the MTFCA forums and the observations of the 8 TT rear ends I have taken apart (4 standard and 4 Ruckstell). It looks like there is some here. There is an article in the Ford Service Bu...

MODEL TT truck Early Late DRIVE SHAFT Comparison rear end splines
There have been a few times that this has been mentioned in this web site, so I ran across this case and took some pictures of it. There are four pictures of drive shaft splined ends and couplings for a Model TT truck drive shaft. One end is an early drive shaft that came off a Model TT rear end. Th...

I have a HALL SCOTT "RUCKSTELL" 2 speed rear end in my Model TT truck. It has both of the names on it, as an example of the naming, just like the shifting level that is in the first two pictures. But what I found interesting is the early shift lock body (in the 3rd and 4th pictures) is made of brass...

The ad says; " IT START AND RUNS."
I guess that is the reason there is a tow strap on the back and tow chains on the front.

I would be interested in it but I do not have the money now or the room as of yet. I only have room for two at this time. It is just bad timing for me. Ask me in four years form now when I am retired. I plan to get a 1913 or 1914 Model T Touring to add to my collection.
