the key was out and in the bottom of the housing, and the spool bearing fell apart, the ring and pinion gears are chewed up a bit. i am not changing my diagnosis yet. I will keep you posted.

I need to get new tires on my 14. does anyone have experience with smooth tires, I was wondering if they wear out faster than a treaded tire. I have ribbed now and they have been good, but I drive the car quite a bit, so I am curious about the life of them.

Russ, yes, the frames I would like to make new ones. mine are verry rough and it would be much easier to make new ones.

Does anyone know of a source to buy the metal 3/8 th glass channel that was used on the side windows of the coupes?
