Re: Speedster Colors wanted
If this is going to be an actual restoration, please do not use the '26/27 wire wheels. In all my years of looking at speedster photos taken in the Model T/A era, I have yet to see a SINGLE brass speedster with '26/27 wheels. As to the paint question, the photos reveal simplicity, one or two colors....

Larry,
Could you post numerous detailed photos of your Rocky Mountain Brakes? Seeing these photos would greatly further my research.
This would also benefit those of us who live hundreds of miles away.

I am uncertain about the direction of rotation of this Matco drive, and am wondering if the rotation is clockwise or counterclockwise.

Finally!
A REAL 1912 speedster!
It is not a later running gear, dressed up with some snappy brass, and wanting to be called a "1912".
That being said, the Rajo B came out much later, as did the Ruckstell.
I do not know when Buffalo wheels were available, nor the Livingston radiator.

Likely an unpopular opinion here, but here goes. What I see is a part salad. If the engine is NOT a 1913 it is not a true '13 speedster. Is the frame a '13? Is the rear end a '13? I would love to see a TRUE '13 speedster. Fakes such as these are corrupting the idea of a '13 speedster. Thus these sho...

Re: Who Bought That 1910 Touring at This Year’s Long Beach Swap Meet?
Two burning questions that are pivotal to determining any level of authenticity that must be explored: What is the casting date of the engine? Is the frame appropriate for a 1910? If the engine casting date is later then 1910 and the frame is later, then calling this car a 1910 is a big fat lie. It ...

Bosch made a Two spark magneto.
Or, better yet, use a Bosch Two Spark Dual magneto.
With this, you can have two spark plugs per cylinder and have the option of
starting with either magneto or battery!
