Re: Have T prices risen?
I have observed the "well restored", more desirable examples are requesting/commanding generally higher prices. While the "black" cars prices seem to be pretty much static and in line with those of 6-10 years ago.

Re: Trick for mounting tires with tubes and flaps....
Nice job Mike, This is exactly the technique I finally began to use with my last tire replacement. I even used a big C clamp and 11 ties just like you did. You're comparison to bear wrestling is very accurate. Removing the ties is a little tough because they break. I found if you remove what you can...

Re: "Sure-Stop" Disc Brakes by Birdhaven
Luke, The master cylinder mounting bracket is made of 1/4" plate steel and is very ridged. Flexing is not an issue. I have needed to "slam" on my brakes a time or two but due to superior braking efficiency, excessive force is not needed to bring a Model T to a stop. Your concern is valid but I have ...

Re: "Sure-Stop" Disc Brakes by Birdhaven
I added Birdhaven Disc Brakes to my '23 Touring 4 years ago. What a fantastic product!! After a month or two of driving I had one of the brake line fittings work loose at the tee and cause my disc brakes to fail. Luckily, I had de-adjusted the transmission brake to work as a back-up and was able to ...

Re: Do you back up hills?
Circa 1908 my wife's Great Grandfather, Roland E Bruner Sr., purchased and developed what is now known as Missouri's Roaring River State Park. After service in WWI, his son Roland E Bruner Jr., supervised the construction and management of the park. The challenges were immense and the term "remote" ...

Re: Disc Brake Installation
Here's how I solved the situation four years ago with no problems to date. I did not use the cap with the hose barb instead used the black cap. My master cylinder happened to sit low enough that the reservoir cap only interfered with the floor board maybe 3/8". I carefully measured and drilled a hol...

Re: NICE QUALITY INNER TUBE
Steve, Please accept my apologies. The nice tube I got from Langs was "Custom Classic" not "Custon Quality". I searched everywhere on the packaging and tube but the country of origin was not stamped anywhere on it. Two years ago I purchased a "Hartford" tube that was junk. It was not made of rubber ...

NICE QUALITY INNER TUBE
I have been disappointed in the quality of current inner tubes available form our suppilers. With an urgent need I recently ordered a 30 x 3 1/2 inner tube found on LANG's online catalog. The listed tube was out of stock but I was offered a substitute which I accepted. The substitute brand is "CUSTO...

Scott, What I'm contemplating is connecting two of the shorter contacts together using a copper or brass "sleeve" and epoxy or maybe solder. Wish me luck.

T W Timer brushes
Has anyone come up with a source for TW Timer brushes? I have found brushes that meet the correct design and size but are made of carbon and are too soft. The material of the original is copper carbon. Here's an illustration:
