I had the same issue when I installed my temporary motor in the 22. I was concerned until I went to bolt the rear end up and everything slid together nice and ran true. When I tore my car apart to look at my frame after the accident, I saw that the right rail was pushed in from the side. I attribute...

Re: A wishbone curiosity
That wishbone that takes normal nuts is the very first version of "under-the-axle-wishbone". If you own a '22 then it migrated there from an earlier car some time in the past. Thanks Scott! That's the answer I was looking for. I already have a tapered wishbone on and I will save this and not modify...

A wishbone curiosity
As I tear my 22 touring apart and subsequently rebuild it, I came across something that I found a little surprising with the wishbone. I replaced the nuts with the proper countersunk nuts after I found the ones that came off the car were the wrong ones. With new spring perches, I put the front axle ...

I vouch for lps, it's a good product.
Lps 1 is a good greasless lubricant
Lps 2 is a good oily lubricant and a little thicker
Lps 3 is great for preventing corrosion and providing a long lasting semi self healing film.

I took this picture at work about a year ago. It's a little humerous to compare parts from my T to other things sometimes. For some reason I took my carb to work one day to mess with after hours. On the table was a different carburetor, a carburetor for a T-28, or more specifically an R-1820-86b. I ...

Don't be surprised if your spring perch looks like this. On my project T someone had welded the wishbone itself to the bottom of the axle. Re: Building a 1924 roadster pickup

The Vintage Ford magazine was sent out 2 weeks ago but still hasn't arrived in numerous places, including mine, due to our wonderful postal service. There is info in the magazine BUT: The MTFCA tents are in the North Chocolate field, C4Q 38-39. Please come join us. There will be a general membershi...

Re: Building a 1924 roadster pickup
I've began the process, finally. To build up, first, you must first tear down. We trailered the car down to where I wanted it. I spent a good part of this past weekend pulling the body off and getting it close to just the frame. I've been taking pictures, but probably not enough... (probably foresha...

Re: Ritchie Brother's Auction Sept 27
W.O.W. what an amazing collection! Shame it has to be auctioned off and split up. I sure hope all the stuff finds a good home. It looks like they are auctioning everything from the Cars to the parts to tractors and more. Car parts are under luxury goods. What an amazing collection! https://www.rbauc...
