A possible explanation may be that the ignition switch suppliers, such as Briggs and Stratton, Clum Mfg. , only offered a few types of switch because a change like this was not cost effective for so few a number of vehicles. Help needed for wiring diagram for the rectangular, dash mounted, ignition switch that has a 3 wire setup in place of the ammeter. I am told this was for the non starter cars 1919-1925.

If you look closely at the photo Frank posted above of the three keys you will see the key shaft bittings are the same, however the keyway (groove) locations are different. Model T Ford keys only have a keyway on one side and NOT all are centered on the shaft. While some are centered, some are offse...

Is there a schedule and listing of the various events at the Homecoming? It would be nice to know the overall opening and ending hours, the hours of the swat meet, schedule of times and location of workshops, tour times etc, so we don't miss anything.

I have a 1915, 2 door, Canadian, Roadster that is equipped with electric forked headlights. Unfortunately the engine has been changed to a later starter engine so I can't provide the original number.

Accoding to Bruce McCalley's The Model T Ford on page 536 the last car bearing the engine # 15, 007,032 is reported to be the last Model T Ford produced on June 1, 1927. Engine production continued until August 4, 1941 with the serial number 15,176,888.

Robert, The second photo shows a very unusual keyway slot that is wide at the tip and narrows toward the top. The key bittings (notches) in the shaft appear to be similar to a #58 key. On each side of the top of the keyway slot there appears to be the remains of the ends of the diamond symbol which ...
