I do not know about cast Iron but I own one that is steel and have seen another one that was made of aluminium. While this does not directly answer your question, My hope it is informative.

If you look closely at the photo Frank posted above of the three keys you will see the key shaft bittings are the same, however the keyway (groove) locations are different. Rich, The stamp on the opposite side from the capital letter "D" has the word Detroit curving down so that only the top of the letters "I & T" are impressed. Up and to the right of that word Detroit are the letters "S, O, & R," curving upward. If you reverse these letters they are the last three let...

Is there a schedule and listing of the various events at the Homecoming? It would be nice to know the overall opening and ending hours, the hours of the swat meet, schedule of times and location of workshops, tour times etc, so we don't miss anything.

I have a 1915, 2 door, Canadian, Roadster that is equipped with electric forked headlights. Unfortunately the engine has been changed to a later starter engine so I can't provide the original number.

Accoding to Bruce McCalley's The Model T Ford on page 536 the last car bearing the engine # 15, 007,032 is reported to be the last Model T Ford produced on June 1, 1927. Engine production continued until August 4, 1941 with the serial number 15,176,888.

Robert, The second photo shows a very unusual keyway slot that is wide at the tip and narrows toward the top. The key bittings (notches) in the shaft appear to be similar to a #58 key.
