My 24 roadster diff blew apart after the babbit thrust washers broke--no brakes is pretty scary . I rebuilt with brass thrust washers and added a/c brakes. john

Hi guys , my basic math has left me ----- I have a crank that was ground .005 undersize and my connecting rod choices are either std or .010. Should I use the std size rods and take shims away or should I scrape the .010 down? Btw--its to replace existing rods in the engine already . Thank you John

OK Model T brothers and sisters, with a good advice from Hank in Tennessee, I checked the wrist pin bolts for my knock, and they were all tight. I started probing further and I noticed some Babbitt coming off the thrust surfaces of the connecting rods. So it turns out I have 3 connecting rods where,...

Hi all, can't find my manual so I'm going to ask the professors here. Motor has a knock when it is just coasting not accelerating and not D accelerating. Number one rod was a tad loose could move it by hand so I remove to shims it's nice. Still had the knock as I drove it, shorted out all cylinders ...

domed, as in high-compression... no. They will hit the head. Use stock pistons. John
