Re: If you own a Model T Ford why?

The first model T (T Model where my family is from) I ever saw was when I was a kid of single digit age (late 60's) in my great uncle's barnyard, I was drawn like a moth to a flame. It was a truck sitting there minus the radiator. I heard stories about the one having a meltdown in the cow manure in ...

2006 ram 3500 4wd w/5.9 Cummins and 6 speed, that I just spent $2800 on for a new clutch and associated parts. And it's not off topic because it's hauled a couple different T's. And a 14 ram promaster 2500 gasser, and it's hauled T parts to make the T go, so it's not off topic either. ;)

Post some photos. As for being able to adjust the mixture better, the float valve has little to do with that. It only allows so much gas to enter into the bowl. The mixture is controlled by the needle valve. The ball valve, (grose jet), that you're replacing can be troublesome in allowing enough ga...

Lincoln Mfg. Splitter on TT

Seeing Bushmikes post of his TT and the Hi-Lo got me thinking again. We were in Richmond at the museum today, there's probably info in the library but we were there late and didn't have time to look through anything, so, anyone on here that can tell me about this? I picked up the truck last fall and...

Re: How is the weather treating you and your T's

I'd say the easiest winter here I can remember. The lines have always been angling from SW to NE and staying just west and north of us. Not saying we won't get a wet heavy dump here in the next couple weeks, but the old truck is sitting in the parking lot, blade on and ready to go, haven't used it o...

Re: Nice video

That was a nice short video. Did he refer to them as an A early on? Also, did I see some right-hand drives coming out of the plant?

Re: Height of 1910 Touring car?

I'm glad to see this thread since I'll be picking up a 26 touring soon and was wondering the same thing. My first question is how tall is your garage door? I see others saying 7' is standard, I thought 8' was standard, if not I know they are pretty common, at least that's what I have. Either way the...

Re: Wench?

   Yea that was a bad typo, wish I could say I did it intentionally just to get a laugh, but sadly I cannot!

I don't plan on using, at least not the wrench (spelling correct this time) part, but the plug end may come in handy.

Wench?

Did I get a period correct T issue wrench, or after-market deal?

So, you've got an extra $200 laying around. How could that be bad luck? :)
I'm hoping that holding them sealed in the pack this many years means they are more than an extra $200.00! :D
I'll bet you've got some bi-centennial quarters stashed away too. :D
More than likely!

Re: very off topic: 2 dollar bills bad luck?

I bought 2 dozen eggs off an Amish friend today, $3.00/dozen. I handed him 2 $2's and 2 $1's. He had a confused look on his face since I handed him 4 bills and the ones were on top, it was like he wanted to say something but didn't want too either. When he spread the bills and saw the 2's you could ...

Re: very off topic: 2 dollar bills bad luck?

Never heard the bad luck thing. My grandpa mentioned soldiers getting paid with them many years ago. I have a couple in my pocket right now, got them in change recently, don't remember where, but the clerk actually asked if I was okay with them as change. I'm not a collector, but I do have an unope...
