Geoff was a friend to many of us and was a popular member of the EFR. The quality of his newsletters and his friendly, helpful manner will be sorel...

Re: 1915 T - Low Power - Suggestions Needed

I suggest you contact Richard at T Service who are based in Weston-on-the-Green in Oxfordshire. They have a website ( https://www.tservice.co.uk/ ) and a facebook page. They look after all my early Fords from 1904 to 1915 and have the highest standards. Give Richard a call. 01869 351006 Regards John

Re: Besides your T, what other Ford would you wish to own?

RajoRacer, Seeing your photograph of your wife's car with Concorde, reminded me of a charity event run at London Heathrow a few years ago where we gave rides in 2 Model Ts and a Model C in exchange for donations to charity. My choice of more Fords would be:= 1905 Model F as I think the early two-cyl...

Re: Progress at Piquette

What a great job they are doing.

I visited in 2014 when I had my Model A in USA for some tours and it an experience not to be missed.

Re: MODEL T AMBULANCE

John I suggest you talk to George King who has built a replica of a WW1 Ambulance. He has taken it to France and toured extensively to show the French that there were USA citizens in that war doing voluntary work long before USA joined the conflict and to extol the virtues of volunteering by the Ame...

Re: Evans Coolant

Greetings from England where our temperatures are never extreme. I use Evans coolant (Vintage) in my 1904 Ford Model A and the Model C. These cars have a 'water pump' which appears to circulate the coolant well as the radiators warms up quite quickly. I used to run the Model A with water and it work...

Re: Bird chirping when I give her the gas

I had the chirping problem some years ago. The chirping occurred under load when gradient climbing in top. Throttling back stopped the chirping.

It turned out to be a crack in the porcelain of a spark plug. Plug changed - chirp gone.

Re: The First Ford sold.

Can I add some comments to the subject of the early Ford two-cylinder cars. Firstly, a study on the agreement between Ford/Malcolmson and the Dodge Brothers shows that Dodge Brothers manufactured the two-cylinder cars and were responsible for assembly and testing of them. Ford motor company fitted t...
