Re: Wanted to Buy, 22 or 23 Coupe

Mr. Martin, In a one word answer, NO, but I believe I have found the car I want and have a "gentleman's agreement" to get it, just working out the timing. I can possibly point you in the direction of two cars that might interest you if you don't already know about them. The Model T Haven has both a ...

I probably am no different from any guy or lady in that when I am looking for something, I try to find it at the best price I can, especially when it comes to things like Model T parts – something that at times is not easy to find, inherently making the price usually higher. So, in that effort to fi...

Mr. Gugerty,

If your title says it is a 22 or 23, it actually is neither. I am fairly confident it is a 24 or maybe even a 25, but one of those two. Thanks for sharing, but NOT the condition I want, nor the year I want, since I want an "older" coupe(17-23) with the suicide doors.

Wanted to Buy, 22 or 23 Coupe

For some reason I can't figure out how to post in classified vehicles, so I thought I would just put it here - hopefully that is okay... I settled on my 26 Coupe that I bought about 2.5 years ago now, I still want an older(17-23, really preferring a 22 or 23) Coupe. For me, it has to run. I am not w...

What year car is this?

Please see the link below: https://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/cto/d/greer-1923-model-doctors-coupe/6889895560.html No matter "how you slice it", is this not a 24? I have questioned this before on this forum and got a lot of info on this subject - as "this is a late year 23". No suicide doors, has co...

Re: slip cover for Coupe bench seat???

Mr. Myers, MUCH Thanks for your reply post!!! Although I am sure Classtique makes beautiful seat covers, here again $500 plus is NOT in my budget for a seat cover! Thanks to others that responded as well, but I have a plan that I think will work for me. My seat covering is still in good enough shape...

Re: Repairing the exhaust manifold threads?

I just couldn't help myself - this is how stupid I was about this. I bought not one, but two used original Ford stamped exhaust manifolds off Ebay that BOTH claimed to be NOT warped with pics of the pack nut end seeming to look okay, just because I like being original and that Ford stamp. Yes you kn...

Re: slip cover for Coupe bench seat???

Okay guys and ladies too, don't want to discriminate, I am STILL searching for some kind of slip cover or something that isn't $500 plus to cover the bench seat in my 26 Coupe. I get it, most of the cars owners on here have multiple cars and deep bank accounts, but that isn't me. Just getting my car...

For Sale: four refurbished/rebuilt Model T coils

For sale is a set of four Model T coils that I have as spares that are just taking up space I don’t have. They have been refurbished by an experienced Model T coil “expert” that has refurbished/rebuilt hundreds of coils. The wiring has been tested, new capacitors, look to be new points although I am...

low band functionality question???

Okay, I would like to understand this or either "something" is wrong with my low speed band and its adjustment. With the transmission cover off, then pressing the clutch pedal down which obviously "tightens" the low speed band around the drum, my band ears seems to only have movement on the left(dri...

Re: okay EXPERTS, YES or NO answer needed Please!!!

OMG, I messed up my own question by asking it twice in different ways that required two answers - one Yes and one No! I have just talked with a VERY experienced T owner and he advised me that I do HAVE to take off the hogshead to make this repair. SORRY all to my two different questions, but now I h...

okay EXPERTS, YES or NO answer needed Please!!!

I do NOT want to remove the hogshead on my 26 Coupe unless absolutely necessary to make a repair. I am trying to replace my clutch pedal shaft, the clutch pedal support cam, and the slow speed notch. I know I have to get the pin out of the slow speed notch to remove the shaft, but even though I have...

Re: For Sale: Vintage tail lights

These need to find a new home! So how about a bottom dollar price of $34 and free shipping to any of the 48 contiguous US states. I am beginning to feel like an idiot for "piecing" these two tail lights back together with the missing and new parts I replaced, along with my unrecoverable time! ...

For Sale: Vintage tail lights

Vintage identical tail lights except one is chromed and the other is painted silver. I was going to use these on my 26 Coupe, but have found other ones I like better. Both are missing the red lens, of which you can buy several styles – you can get all red, amber and red, and red with the word STOP i...

slip cover for Coupe bench seat???

After going to a couple of upholstery shops yesterday with my 26 Coupe bench seat to get recovered, I was shocked by the estimates they were giving me, so after unsuccessful internet searching this morning, I have come to the experts that hopefully can inform me of possibly where to buy a quality sl...

Thanks Mr. Rodell! It was advertised as a "T" spark plug/head bolt wrench when I bought it and I just assumed they knew what they were selling. Next time I will research before I buy!!!

For Sale vintage Ford wrench

I bought this wrench thinking it was the sizes I needed for my "T" and it was not. The open end is 1" and the boxed end is 3/4". I am asking $5 for the wrench, plus shipping to any of the continental US states only. Thanks for looking!!! Walt Wise
