Re: Never thought I’d get scammed

I feel your pain.
I propose that sellers consider allowing to be paid for goods and services by adding in the additional fee.
That would give buyers a layer of protection against the scammers.

Four of us in the St. Louis chapter pooled our funds to buy a pan jig and a rear axle stand (thank you to Lang’s). The St. Louis club had its fall tour Saturday. We had a 70+ mile loop on some local 2-lane black top roads, no seven gallon hills this time. ( I learned my lesson about that a couple of years ago). Started off fairly foggy and cool but as the mist burned off it became a glorious day. Stopped at a lo...

Andy, If you are ever East, we can make a tour happen anytime. Anything more than one car is a parade, if we go somewhere it is a tour! BTW, it only 3 days of hard driving towing a trailer to get here, I took my car to San Diego last year. It was great fun, but too much windshield time to get there.

St. Louis changed their parade to sometime in the fall, so we headed to the St. Charles, Mo parade. It seemed to have considerably more attendees than the past several downtown STL parades. Four cars attended and a good time was had despite the temps and lack of shade

I would think that there are a couple of different possibilities, but I’m wondering if anyone can share their experiences. I’d rather not mount it, only to find out that there is a better option after I drill ho...

Warford Support bracket
I was able to obtain a Trusko support bracket thinking it would help support the added weight of a Warford transmission. While poling around I found an old post showing that Trusko also made a Warford support bracket. My question is, should one shown help, since it supports the drivetrain ant the 4t...

Frank, I will be there in spirit, but not in person. I was asked to help source some the parts for this car. It was built by students at Ranken Technical School, as part of the X-Cup category. I’m a 1984 grad and they reached out to help with finding some parts and how it went together. The class ma...

On Saturday we got 4 cars together for our spring tour here in St. Louis. It was a beautiful sunny day, after the devastating storms that hit the area the day before. We had a nice 20ish mile drive, visited the historic Frank Lloyd Wright house in Ebsworth park and the Laumeier Sculpture park and th...
