Hi, I wasn't successful using the clamp. I used black zip tie and steel wires but just be careful...I used a lot towel surrounding the band in the goal to avoid any steel wires fall down in the transmission. Hi, one of my braking rear end plate on my speedster 1914 is bent as you see in the pictures bellow. The new brake shoe look it will do is job I thought. Jonah, You are correct AC brake are good for 1909-1925 small brake drum not for large drum. You have to use Rocky mountain Brake, it will cost you $775 plus shipping and you will be able to use your existing drums as well. Rocky Mountain Brake manufacturing Co reproduce them for over 40 years... 95...

Larry Sylmore still making them as well for the small drums not for 1926-27 unfortunately. See the last MTFCA classified you have the all info there. I used them in 2 cars. Working really well.

you may know it but it missing one spring in your brake shoe... Just in case. That occure to me sometimes forgetting things like my keys, wallet, phone or a cutter pin as well.

I have a 1913 that I've owned for over 60 years. I started restoring it as a teenager, and put a copper gas line on it. It is still on the car today with over 57,000 miles. Greg the electric car from China that cost $900 US shipped it is a scam. A guy in USA said he finally paid more than $30,000 for it and hereceived it 8 mounts later. We have to be very carefull with parts and cars coming from China... I will prefer driving my T as well.

After trying all advices, If you are not able to fix it for any reason ask Joe Bell or Hank. Both were able to fix that for sure. Sometime external help is appreciated.

I weld and recut the notch on the timer brush to allow the timer to rotate further counter clockwise. You then have plenty of travel before reaching the belt. I find this problem more common on the Anderson timers. Andy For that reason I don't like Anderson timer. I used new day timer as well

Finished the engine and transmission installation on my stock 1914 speedster as well. Ready to do the rear axle and the driving shaft restoration by now. Great thx to Hank for parts, support and advices.
