If I understand, this directly replaces the original burner? Mounts on the original burner base?
Probably the wires can be routed through original gas burner hose and looking pretty nice.

Put one set on the side for me. I will combine with another purchase I will do this week.

Like Allan, I used the white rope seal with the little black core is stocked as an A model part. Just cut the lenght you want with a knife and always fit perfectly. Cheap and efficent option. :lol:

Agree with Stan,

Yes I think I am lucky, I have two boys and one daughter. My last boy accompanies me in the restoration of my two Model T Ford. He is the next generation and he likes the hobby. We need to interest young generation about preserved these beautiful cars and our history.

Hi, for sure I learnt something here, The timing should be set with the rod disconnected from the timer... In my past experience I used an early metal timer, I forgot that one is in plastic... I will use another one for sure, and keep this one like a spare and try to reinforced with metal part.

I used a brand new day timer and it is working really well. I tried to adjust the rod but I broke the hole in the timer, the timer is in plastic...I thought it is a good plastic but is not the case. I could share my own experience. I started to used my AC brakes with cables as original and I found it is not good enough for a brake stability perspective but again it is my perception. Jay, I have one 1922 Canadian licence from Quebec province made in kind of wood. Perfect original condition... But it is not cheap.
