Looks to me like 30x3” clincher
Its a 30 x 3.5". No 30x3 demountables.
Ok, that narrows it down. Thanks.

Re: Tire sizes

James IMO search for better clincher rims, that rim has too sharp clincher bead and will cut a new tire quickly. This is a new tire ruined by sharp clincher bead. IMG_3466 (1280x960) (620x465).jpg This clincher rim is rusted too much, flaky rust in the rim, and the clincher bead rusted away to knif...

Will need wheel/rim photos to identify just what you're attempting to install tires onto ! Demountable rims or clinchers ?
They are demountable. I'll see if I can figure out how to post a picture or 2.

Tire sizes

Me again with more tire questions. Trying to find something that will fit before Coker's sale ends. What I have now are 2 rims that measure 22 3/4 inside, 24 1/4 outside and are 2 7/8 wide outside. Appear to be 2 1/2 inside rim width. All measurements are in inches. I was looking at the universal T ...

Re: FS 23” TT Rear Wheels and Rims $500.00

In spite of my attempt to be as clear and accurate as possible, what I wrote could be misleading. What I wrote "And the TT trucks used different wheels front and back making the rear truck wheels hard to find." Should read "And the TT trucks used different wheels front and back on the same truck, m...

Re: FS 23” TT Rear Wheels and Rims $500.00

The Ruckstell axle assemblies use the stock axles for their setup. BUT... The car axles (and its rear wheels) and the TT truck axles (and its rear wheels) are different. Wheel hubs, hub caps, spokes, brakes, felloes, rims, tires, etc are different between the TT truck and the cars. And the TT truck...

Well, I guess I've saved up enough money to start buying stuff again! These will fit the Ruckstell axles?

Re: Wheels for sale

Purely by eye, NOT exactly accurate or trustworthy, I see several that "appear" to be 30 X 3 which would be front wheels for US built non-demountable wheels. The 30 X 3 is a 24 inch rim size, measured diameter where the tire bead sits on the rim itself. This is inside the clincher rim, and easy eno...

How many are matching sizes? Also, how would we calculate shipping costs?

Re: Identification

Its a garden tractor. Car chassis with a TT axle for lower gearing. The extra transmission for additional lower gearing. It needs iron tractor wheels similar to what you have shown. Putting T wheels to turn into a TT truck? Its way cooler as a garden tractor. We were wondering that! Guy that my fri...

Re: Identification

Maybe I'll find some of them then!! I have a friend who does a lot of Model A's. He's the one that gave me this project. He does know where a pair of nice front wheels are, but the guy wants to see this running before he'll sell them to me. I've checked on Facebook and didn't see much. I'm in no rus...

Re: Identification

Thanks Dan. My plan is just to ride a few miles around my house. Found someone with a pair of 23" large bore rears. Think I may get them and see where that puts the front height. It may be a little while before my credit card cools off though. Same person has a pair of rear hubs for the Ruckstell. I...

Re: Identification

That helps. Not knowing anything about these is not helping my description. I do have the Ford Manual, 1915-1925, the Ruckstell manual, and the service manual reprints. The wheel combinations are what's giving me fits. Since I have no front or rears, I'm not sure what to look for. So far, that's my ...

Re: Identification

Thanks so much! I was beginning to think this was some weird collection of various parts, so that's good to know. Those steel wheels were just slapped on there so we could get it out of the shed it was in. Any ideas on what kind of wheels I should be on the lookout for? Found someone on Ebay that ha...

Identification

I've posted some pictures in the photo section under James, assuming I did it right. Would love someone to take a look and help me identify this thing. Serial number is so rusted I haven't been able to read it. I believe it's a mid 20's T with the truck conversion. But then there's an extra transmis...
