Sold:Rubes triple twist brass horn

Sold: A circa 1908-12 Rubes triple twist brass horn. Has a different mounting bracket and reed angle than standard T horns, but would look great on a speedster. Note this one mounts on the right hand side of the car (unless its mounted upside down on the left hand side). It is marked Rubes. It has a...

For sale: 1915 Rubes horn with 90 degree elbow

For sale: A Rubes horn in very nice unrestored condition. This has the diamond shaped mounting bracket which is specific to 1915. It also has the extremely hard to find 90 degree elbow which was used in early 1915 only. The horn has a few minor dents which would be easy to fix. One thumb screw for t...

For Sale: 1915 Runabout Tail Lamp Bracket

A very nice original tail lamp bracket. This is the style with a separate bolt in license plate bracket that I believe was used only in 1915 on runabouts and possibly coupelets. Its in excellent condition. See photos. Price $95 includes air mail postage to the USA. Payment by Paypal (friends and fam...

Re: 1926-27 rear light / licence bracket - Canadian?

Here are some comparison photos showing the (apparently) Canadian Roadster Pickup assembly next to a standard fender mounted 1926-27 Australian (Canadian) assembly. Same license plate holder / tail light, just a different mounting bracket. Also an Australian ad for a "Light Delivery Runabout". In Au...

Re: 1926-27 rear light / licence bracket - Canadian?

Thanks Bob and Les.

Yes - seems similar to the TT assembly but with a different license plate holder.

Les - am I correct in assuming Canadian roadster pickup?

Does anybody have a photo of one on a car?

1926-27 rear light / licence bracket - Canadian?

Hi all I'd like to positively identify this tail light / license plate assembly. Its in Australia, so if it came here in 1926-27 its likely a Canadian part. The drop arm looks like the standard US part for a 1926-27 roadster-pickup. The license plate holder and light body look like standard Canadian...

Re: Some photos of a 2 lever at the shop today

Tony - a T arrived in Sydney in early 1909 and given the arrival date and likely shipping time, there's a good chance it was a 2 lever car. As for what became of it - I wish I knew!

For sale: 2 1911-13 running board irons

Two 1911-13 running board irons. These are of heavier construction than later ones. They need to be heated and re-set but are very solid with no pitting or other problems. This style is very hard to find. Compared to the 1914-16 or 1917-21 style they are thicker and differently shaped in various pla...

Re: 3 Period photos Melbourne Australia

Hi Norm. The front 2 cars are model T's with bodies built by Tarrant Motors who were the Ford agents for the state of Victoria. They sometimes used crowned fenders like on the car on the right. That car also has the distinctive Tarrant rounded top radiator tank.

What a nice item Donnie. Thanks for posting the photos. If you don't have any luck finding inserts, you could make some using old head bolts.

2 lever 1909 at MTFCA Museum

I was just doing the virtual museum tour and would like to see more info on T 394 (I think). If this is the car I'm thinking of, my father had the chance to buy it in the 1980's but had just retired and decided not to. I can't quite read the sign on the virtual tour and there is an info sheet which ...

Re: Two Lever '09 on ebay?

Interesting early re-creation. The rear axle housings are 1911-12 12 rivet modified to look like 6 rivet housings. The front axle is a later one modified to look like 1909-11. You can see where they have added material to "fill in" the area where the spindle arm clearance used to be. The spindles ar...
