Re: Wheels for sale

I know this is a long shot, but do you by chance have a rear demountable wheel with good spokes? I’m very interested.

How to remove welded castle nuts

I’m getting ready to remove the front axle on my ‘17 touring, and I noticed that someone has welded the castle nuts on the bottom of the spring perches where they go through the radius arms. I can’t really get a wrench or a socket on it to try and break it loose. The only form of heat I could put on...

Re: WTB De-Mountable Wheels

Hello all,
I added pictures of the style of demountable wheels I’m looking for. These are the fronts, and I need 2 rear wheels with the small brake drums.

Thanks!!!

Re: WTB De-Mountable Wheels

It would be best to match the wheels you have on the front. That way you will only need one spare rim/tyre assembly. If you have...

Hello from Iowa

Hello all, I recently bought this 1917 Touring. I got it running after having last ran 2+ years ago. It’s very cold blooded, but once it starts, it runs very well. Current plans are to disassemble the body over the winter, do a mechanical restoration, fix some minor rust issues, and then repaint it ...

WTB De-Mountable Wheels

Hello all, I recently bought a 1917 Touring, and it came with de-mountable wheels on the front, but non de-mountable wheels on the rear. I like the idea of only having to remove the outer rim/tire in the event of a blowout, so I'm on the hunt for a pair of de-mountable wheel assemblies. My car has t...
