Early hand brake lever and cross shaft For Sale. It has the cast clutch cam and keyed shaft that was used on 1915 and earlier T’s. Re: Wheel Hub Threads

I’ve always had good success with using a thread file on hubs.

They also work great on spindles as well.

Re: Wheels and Wings car show 9-29 Medina Ohio

Nice pictures, looks like it was a fun show. Thank you for sharing.

I hate to break it to you but that wasn’t a real P-51 Mustang. Appears to be a 3/4 scale replica. Nice looking airplane though.

Re: 21” Model A caps on Model T wire wheels

Thanks for the help.

I am NOT modifying the T wheels.

Just curious if the larger Model A cap could be made to fit the smaller opening in the T wheels.

Get one of these:

I have an 8000mAh one and I can charge my phone at least 3 times before it needs to be recharged.

Re: Here I go again .... to OCF

I think it’s time you take the plunge and buy a smartphone. It would make your long distance Model T travels so much easier. 1. You wouldn’t be dependent on bumming a free WiFi signal. You can use the cellular signal for internet. 2. You wouldn’t have to travel with your laptop. 3. You wouldn’t need...

Re: What would YOU do, next??

I just got done removing the arms from a pair of spindles for the speedster that I am building. Since the front end is lowered, I had to swap the arms side to side on the spindles to allow more clearance. It is difficult to get the spindles positioned correctly in a press to press them out. I heated...

Re: Early vs. Late 1913 Fenders

Wayne, I have always thought it was a “clean up day” car or built with “left overs”. It is interesting finding mix of all of the ‘13 and ‘14 features. I always refer to it as a very late ‘13. I know some die hard purests will call it a ‘14. The fenders have no bill on the front an no reinforcement r...

Re: Early vs. Late 1913 Fenders

My Touring has been in my family since the 1950’s and is a very well preserved and mostly original car. It has a serial number from the first week in June 1913 and has a ‘14 style body with early ‘13 front fenders. I am confident the fenders are original to the car. It has many other mixed ‘13 & ‘14...

Re: Status of New Fuel Tanks

I’ve always wondered if you could somehow make one of these universal tanks work as a temporary solution. My T’s have round tanks so I don’t know how much room is under the seat of a car with an oval tank. https://www.speedwaymotors.com/Spun-Aluminum-Fuel-Tank-5-Gallon-8-x-24-Inch,31420.html If I ne...
