Re: 26-27 Floor mat

I don’t have a ‘26-‘27 to know how the mat is supposed to be cut, but on my ‘12 & ‘13 the whole square area that has no texture around the pedals is cut out.

Sorry, they sold a long time ago. I just never got around to updating the ad.

Yes, like my ad said, they were early ‘11 with the embossing on the back.

Re: Need tire recommendations

Earlier this year I put a set of new Firestone tires and Blockley tubes on my Touring. I’m happy with the tires and I like how they look on the car. The Blockley tubes and shipping from the UK were not cheap but I feel they were worth it.

Re: Engine flooding, running rich, black smoke

Did you recut the taper of the spray needle? If you did, did you remove a lot of material?

Years ago I built up a carb from parts than ran really rich. Turned out the spray needle wasn’t bottomed all the way before I backed it out a turn.

Re: Show Us Your Hershey Finds

Once again I had an absolutely wonderful time at Hershey. The weather was perfect! Here are just a small sample of my great Model T parts finds. I found a straight through NH, a usable NH float, and a small box of carburetor parts that included a Stromberg float bowl cover and needle. IMG_5308.jpeg ...

When you turn the sleeve with the tool, the sleeve will somewhat collapse on itself and allow the dimple to come out of the hole in the axle tube.

Re: Number 1 coil keeps shorting out.

Try putting a good coil in that position and slowly turn the crank over by hand with the ignition on battery. Listen close to see if the coil is buzzing continuously and causing the coil to fail. If it is buzzing continuously, you could have a short to ground in your commutator wiring or a short to ...

Hershey is still an amazing swap meet and an incredible event that everyone in the old car hobby should experience. If you can’t find what you are looking for, then you aren’t looking hard enough! I’m my opinion, one of the biggest things hurting Hershey attendance is everyone posting online about h...

Received both issues here.

I've often thought it would be nice if the two clubs could get together and stagger the month of their issues. Instead of getting both on the same month, you could get one each month.
