Re: Model T Bendix ?????

Sorry for taking so long to answer some of your questions. Hopefully you will be able to read my printing: Bendix (10) (640x480).jpg The rows are: 1. Size of end at top of picture. The 2 at the right fit into the snout of a T starter. The measurements are the diameter and length of the top end of th...

Could any of these fit a Model A? Does a Model A starter turn the same direction as a Model T starter? You can tell I know nothing about Model A's.

I recently bought a box of mostly Model T parts. In looking at the parts more closely, I would like some help identifying these bendix parts. In the first picture, the 2 on the bottom left appear to be Model T and the drive gear rotates clock-wise (when viewed from the top in this picture). The 3 on...

Is This For A Model T?

This was with some Model T parts I bought from the family of a long-time Model T gentleman who passed away recently. It appears to have been "manufactured" and not homemade. What is it?
Just curious.

Re: Wanted info - photo of 1918-19 wooden front seat cover hinge - also info on 1915-1919ish metal gas tank cover hinge

Are the hinges in the eBay listing (by Keith above) correct for a 1914 Touring? The 4 18" length seems a little large but maybe it is correct. The shape looks like the ones in the pictures.

Help??????

Re: Patent Search Help

Thanks for the information. I was disappointed that the date did not produce any results. Re: Patent Search Help

These are some pictures of the accessory starter setup. The starter motor mounts to the frame rail and the engine pan. The manual crank handle can be removed when not being used. The patent date (Sept 15, 1915) can be seen on the housing in front of the radiator.

Hope these help.

I am trying to identify an accessory starter that shows it was patented on Sept. 15, 1915. There is no name on the starter. How do I search for this patent? None of the searches I have made have produced any useful results.
