Here are pictures of the two versions of the parts that attach to the steering column. The lower one is the tilting version. They appear to be the same except for the side opposite the locking mechanism.

I have an Engler Hubodometer that shows 5.3 miles. Were these used on Model Ts?

I will check tomorrow about the threaded shaft end. No, it does not have a hole in the opposite end.

Hood Retainer Clip Question

On my 1927 Roadster, the hood center hinge rod pops out of the hood retainer clip on top of the radiator when I open the hood. Is something missing that would hold the rod in place?
Any suggestions for an easy solution? A cap or cover?

Are the hinges in the eBay listing (by Keith above) correct for a 1914 Touring? The 4 18" length seems a little large but maybe it is correct. The shape looks like the ones in the pictures.

These are some pictures of the accessory starter setup. The starter motor mounts to the frame rail and the engine pan. The manual crank handle can be removed when not being used. The patent date (Sept 15, 1915) can be seen on the housing in front of the radiator.

Someone told me that Van Briggle made two different styles of shocks and that I have one style for the front and the other style for the rear. I have not been able to confirm this. I may try to install them and see what happens.
