Re: Patent Search Help

Thanks for the information. I was disappointed that the date did not produce any results. Is there a way to search by text such as "auxiliary starter" in lieu of looking at each patent during that time frame? Or alternatively, searching for patent recipient such as "Bendix"? Any suggestions will be ...

Re: Patent Search Help

These are some pictures of the accessory starter setup. The starter motor mounts to the frame rail and the engine pan. The manual crank handle can be removed when not being used. The patent date (Sept 15, 1915) can be seen on the housing in front of the radiator.

Hope these help.
Thanks

Patent Search Help

I am trying to identify an accessory starter that shows it was patented on Sept. 15, 1915. There is no name on the starter. How do I search for this patent? None of the searches I have made have produced any useful results.

Thanks
Dennis

Question About Holley G Carburetor

I recently got a Holley G carburetor with an unusual (at least to me) Throttle lever setup. It has the Dec 22, 1914 patent date on the top. Questions about Victor #2 Lights

I have searched for information about Victor # 2 lights, particularly side and tail lights for a 1914 Touring. I found a picture posted in 2009 by Rick Gunter that showed a tail light with both a red and either a blue or green round lens. Victor # 2 Lights Rick Gunter.jpg I have found other Forum po...

Re: Information Wanted on Van Briggle Shocks

Thanks for the Ad.
Someone told me that Van Briggle made two different styles of shocks and that I have one style for the front and the other style for the rear. I have not been able to confirm this. I may try to install them and see what happens.
Thanks again.

Information Wanted on Van Briggle Shocks

Does anyone have these Van Briggle shocks on their Model T? Do you have to rotate or swap the spring perches as you do with Hassler shocks. They appear to be in good condition. I have searched and have found little information about them other than the two ads. The second picture shows the front sho...
