Windshield setting channel

The brass windshield setting channel in the lower half of my 11 Touring Rands windshield frame is pretty beat up. Can the straight pieces sold by the vendors be formed around the corners or do the channel kits fit correctly? Art

gas valve thread size

I want to connect the gas line up to my gas tank in my 11 but I do not have a shut off valve. I do have a reproduction shut off valve for at the carb that I got from Langs. What fitting and thread size is needed at the tank sediment bulb to connect to the gas line? Art

Richard, I have a set of those straight rods that came with my 11 project. Do you remember where the bends were located and the angle? I also need to form the windshield ends. Art

Front crossmember spred

I trial fitted my radiator on my 1911 that has the engine and front spring already installed and of course the front cross member has spread and the outside of the frame is 23 1/4 so the radiator will not fit down over the frame and the radiator mounting holes are also too far apart. I have read the...

I had bookmarked the late Phil Mino's website showing his original 11 Touring details. That car and mine were only about 100 apart on engine numbers. I can no longer access it and I get a notice it is not active. Does anyone have those pictures of all the details on that 11 or is there a different w...

Re: Timer felt installation

I ended up slicing the felt in half and put the timer body on, then the felt, then the shield( made one out if thin brass) then the roller, pin retainer and thin locknut from Langs. It looks like the VowellArt drawing of the 11 two piece timer but with the shield after the felt. Art

I put my steering in the 11 today but it doesn’t seem to have enough sticking out the bottom of the steering bracket for the pitman arm to tighten up on. The top of the shaft in as far as it will go. What is wrong here? Art
