Also don’t confuse it with 2pc crankshaft. Which the Floating 2pc Transmission shaft helps to prevent. Dan

Number one, those housings like leak on the best of days.
2. What oil are you using in the rear end? Ruckstell need lighter oil than the grease in a standard rear end. Lighter oil equals more leaks.
You are fighting an uphill battle. Best answer change to later rear end.

I thought it strange that this book has the Winged Pyramid sign on it. Henry is said to have dropped it in the late teens. Yes it could have been left over at this dealership. Look into “ burnishing bushings”. I am of the belief that Ford did some form of this to triple gear bushings.
Also look at ball sizing or burnishing. This is done with a harden ball of a special size to make the bushings a certain size.

Be sure driven plate is turning true to brake drum. Or you will be in here again. T transmission work is not just swapping parts.
