Reunion tours

3 fun days of touring heading to the reunion tomorrow. Kudos to those who organized and layed out the tours. Great roads and destinations. Only a little bit of rain on Thursday. But was fun to be around all the different Model Ts and their owners. Looking forward to the Reunion tomorrow.

Seems I know of a red K roadster that also has been seen racing around several events. Probably can go faster now that it has a windshield. Just saying

Re: What Have You Done To/With Your Pre-T Ford This Year?

Been working on my model F. Had the front connecting rod rebabbited and now reassembling everything for a test run. Waiting for model S engine from rebuilder who is fitting a new crankshaft. Hope to have both in Minnesota this summer.

Re: N's, R's & S's

I don't know the total survival rate but 2 years ago at the Old Car Festival we had 7 of them lined up for a picture. I think they survived well. We have several registered at the EFR. My car has been in our family since 1948. My father bought it from a local Ford Dealer who had it in their showroom...

Rob allowed me to have the privilege of driving the Model B for the forum get together. It was fun giving rides and sharing this unique vehicle. I got to drive it about 40 miles on a pre tour for the New London to New Brighton run. Most likely the most miles a Model B has traveled in 100 years. It w...

Re: New London to New Brighton run

The Buick that finished fourth was a model 14 2 cylinder car. The owner a retired machinist restored the car and it presented itself very well. Maybe next year the Fords will pull back and let him be first. We’ll have to see 😃

Re: New London to New Brighton run

I was really looking forward to driving the model B on the big tour. We were just getting it dialed in when Rob had to leave. But I got to put 40 miles on it on the Wednesday mini tour. A great car to drive. My model F was one of the did not start cars. We had a connecting rod issue. But it will be ...

Re: What have you done on an old non-Model T vehicle.

I had the opportunity to drive Rob’s model B Ford on last Wednesdays mini tour in New London about 40 miles. The most distance a model B has traveled in 100 years. Happy to report the car performed well. Would have done the 125 mile run on Saturday but due to illness the car had to leave. Was sure a...

We made it to Lansing about 5 pm. The model F ran great. I think about 4 cars ended up on the trouble trailer . Good weather. It’s 54 out now, it will be a cool start. Plan on leaving around 7:30. When it’s light enough.
