Yes, I have 12V alternator, I love it. Many trouble free miles. Its from Larry Becker. Its about 13 years old or so. Of course we lost Mr. Becker a few years ago. His famous saying was as long as he was here it was guaranteed. I have his 12 volt starter also. Never a problem.

FYI, The clutch freed up. What I did was to spray it with WD40 and just let it sit with the pedal blocked down. I got into it yesterday and tried to start it in gear and it was free! The next time I let it sit for an extended amount of time I will block that pedal down.

Re: Worford and Rucksell
Eric, I preferred the 5 and 4 two stick to the 13 speed road ranger transmission. The company bought new trucks with the 13 speed road rangers and after driving one I asked to go back to my 5 and 4. it was great for short haul dumps because of some of the terrain I had to navigate on the different c...

Worford and Rucksell
The suggestion has come up about running both a Warford and a Ruckstel rear. Would anyone have a photo of the two shifters in place and how hard is it to get into the car. Right now my Ruckstel shifter comes up through the middle of the floor and when I get in and out of the car I have to work aroun...

I will think about it, wouldn't the two sticks get in the way. Its already difficult to get into with one big shifter in the way I have to wonder what would happen with two sticks.

The one suggestion I don't is to make sure the lights are bright enough to in the bright of day outside. Sometimes you cant see if the light is on or not in the daylight.

My biggest worry would be that 1.5 inch crankshaft. To much load on that and your day may not go so well.

The moto meter never showed any temperature but the my gage that I have taped into the goose neck showed the highest temp of 193F. It was 43 degree...

A few months back I tossed my belt, Drove it 60 miles in 90 degree heat and it never got any warmer than what she normally runs driving. I'm using a thin core rad. So no, as long as your rad is flowing right and your block is clear it should not mater to much. Of course keep an eye on your moto meter.
