I read somewhere that a T is designed to power out, fuel flow stop, and oil flow stop on a 25% grade. Sounds like your T is performing as well as a stock car will. 4-1 gears would get you that last 50 feet.

I agree with Dan and have seen a 1917 widetrack touring on the 1991 Gulfshores, Alabama tour. I remember it well and have never seen the car again.

Pressure check that head. You may be pressurizing your coolant system.

I run hardened seats and valves from a 90s olds I believe. Springs are VS468. Have never had a problem with the valve train. Blown head gaskets are another story.

I let them leak. I know a guy who sealed them so well he now has to grease the pedal cams manually!!

It is also a wide bodied centerdoor. There were 3 companies making the bodies and one of them was 4" narrower than the other 2. This one is wide because it bulges in the middle of the body at the doors. Had a friend who restored a narrow one with a wide front seat. There was no way to get in the fro...

It has straps to raise the rear windows so it is not a 23. I'm going with 20-21 due to the steel covered window pillars as well as the T handled door handles.

You may have a 1911 town car column with a 1910 touring car shaft. Town car column was 51" and touring car column was 50".

I have probably 40-50 tubes in storage. I vacuum them down and double bag them in plastic grocery sacks. They are then stored in a metal cabinet. Haven't lost a tube to dry rot yet using this method.
