What I meant is the disc drum slides on the main shaft instead of presses on like the later ones with the three washers .MEL.

Another question
I have run into two 1915 trans with brake drums that have the big bushings and the clutch disc drum does not press on and they both were running. Has anybody else run across this? Oh,and they are not worn . MEL.

Help needed
I have tried to mount my 30 inch clincher tire on my rim and between my back and wrong tools I can not do it ,is there anybody that could help me in Portsmouth, VA ?.I could pay a reasonable amount. MEL.

I just painted Lucille, our 15 roadster bright canyon red like my wife wanted . She got it ! :lol: :lol: It has a long way to go to be able to drive ,but it is a start . I asked ones that saw both which one they liked better ,and Lucille got more votes ,I wonder why? Vernon is a lot more along ready...

I do not know if this counts ,but I was showed how to post pics from desk top . I also got my firewall on and bought Firestone tires and EEC tubes.[image][/image]

Thanks to Hank I finally got the correct firewall on Vernon .It looks new .I wish I could post pics. to show you,I think you might agree maybe. The wiring is 40+years old tho , it still looks great .

I finally was able to paint Vernen's rear fenders after about a week working on them even they are nos from over 40 years ago. The right one went on great because of the correct iron. I have to buy a left one for 23-25 coupe roadster to put the other on . I also got my rear wheal back and on . :lol:...

I started to put my rear fenders on my roadster and it lacked 1/2 inch or more at running board too close.Then I saw a difference in length, one was 10+1/2 the other was 12 from base to flat where the fender bolts on. They have not been bent. I thought they were the same length from 15 -25. :? :? Wh...

I have a 7 -18 -15 block that has 1/4-1/4 chip at the top of a bore and the machine shop said they could not fix it . I installed the crank I had ground in 1980 and come to find out it is .003 out in center main and the inner thrust is .007 on one side and drags on the other but the flange is square. :oops: It is fresh .020 all.
