my top irons on my roadster Pick-up are broken over - rust. It appears that there are wood inside the lover part of the irons and with some holes in the irons (missing fastners for side curtains I think) moisture and even water gets in.

Are any vendors selling new irons? I guess not as I have not been able to find them. And anyway I need to...

Are 26 fordor rear fenders the same as coupe, touring and roadster? I am going to hershey and hope to find some but need to know what i am looking at. Thanks in advance

I'm trying to remove the busted crank pulley on my 1910 T, but I can't seem to get it far enough to remove it from the engine because the narrow engine snout won't allow it. There's got to be another way to get this off other than removing the pan. Any tips would be appreciated!

 
I have reproduced the factory warranty label for Weston HCCT meters.
Any remnant of the original label is lost during refurbishment.
These are made on anti-tamper property tag labels.
Once installed, they can not be removed.
To date I have refurbished about 30 Weston meters for the HCCT.
Anyone who has had their Weston meter refurbished by me...

Hello all!
My dad found this car being sold from an estate and we hope to have some fun with it. It was a runner when parked so far as we know, but has sat for at least five years. A complete spare chassis was included that appears to be in fairly good shape, so we have plenty to mess with.

I can't figure out how to post a picture, but I saw one of a brace the had two bump outs for the headlights. How do they mount, use existing riveted holes replaced by bolts or would you have to drill holes, (I wouldn't)

Here's a mystery to me. I thought someone here might like to see it.

This little medal came in a bunch of parts from 1911 Ford I bought years ago. The metal appears to be dated 1909, so it obviously predated that car, which I later restored and sold, and the medal got thrown into a can in the shop, which I am trying to now clean up.

Got a question, is the battery horn's diaphragm the same diameter as the magneto horn and can it be used as a replacement? I know this seems like a stupid question, but I need to ascribe a part number to the diaphragm and the only one I can come up with is the one for the battery horn.

I did some measuring several years ago but can't remember. Will a 5 inch truck exhaust pipe fit inside the ends for a T muffler? It would definitly be thicker than the stove pipe metal that was on most mufflers.

Hi, I am taking my first T engine apart as it has a loose bearing and note that there is a divit in the center of the valve end of the tappet. Do I need to replace the tappets because if I grind the tappets down to flush, I will have excessive clearance to the valves and how critical is this clearance on a T engine. Thanks for any help.

I'm interested in getting an extra set of good working coils for my 22. I figure this way, I can get my current set sorted out and still be able to drive the car. Am I wrong in thinking some owners keep a spare set? Where is the best deal on coils?

On my '26 the rear hood latch's went on slick. The fronts are an issue. The springs that came with the kit are too long to even fit/compress between the c shaped frame rail.
Am I to cut a few rounds of the spring off?

I have three of the same spoke wheels and one odd on my '26 project.
Three wheels measure approx 22 inches from demountable mounting bolts going from 9 o'clock to 3 o'clock.
One wheel measures approx 19+ inches going from 9 o'clock to 3 o'clock mounting bolt to mounting bolt.

I have a brass Nonpareil horn on my car. The rivets that hold the bracket to the horn itself are loose enought to allow the horn to ratlle up and down while driving. Is there a good way to tighten these up without unsoldering the horn and taking it apart? Suggestions appreciated, thanks, Bill

I’ve been talking to a guy who says the late T’s..26/27 didn’t have the 2 piece valves like the earlier T’s did. Is there any truth to this ? Are the 2 piece valves easy to spot? The only way I’ve known is by the 2 holes in the valve head for the lapping tool.

We are having an odd problem with our T and would love some fresh thoughts.

The car:
- 1927 touring, with a 1923 engine.
- Fresh rebuild of rear axel and engine. Didn’t fully open up the transmission, but did install new kevlar bands, and the clutch discs were all cleaned and inspected....

I have a non electric 23 roadster that has 30x3 square fellow non demountable wheels on the front and 30x3 1/2 on square fellow non demountable wheels on the back. What should it have to be correct? Some say 30x3 1/2 steel fellow non demountables all the way around…..boy the wheels on the car look like that have always been with the car. Opinions...

I just discovered a large Model T auction this Saturday September 11 in Knox PA 9:30 am by Rankin Auction Service. Many cars, hacks and tons of parts. Engines, frames, wheels, rear ends etc. It's worth going too the auction site just to see what is shown in the pictures.

It is really coming together enough to start putting the tank on. Unfortunately the pre-cut Lang's block do not fit my tank. The tank is very oval at a steeper angle. During our Fiddle & Folk Fest, (fiddle and folk.com), we set up the truck to be our ‘open mic’ stage. Added stairs to the back, parked and chocked, added speakers and the mic and we had a very successful area for folks to sing their hearts out!
