I'm looking to chase the threads of the front wheel hubs for my Ash Three bolt wire wheels. The grease cap is the same as the wood wheel hub cap. Can anyone give me a location to get a die for this job with out a lot of cost. Tom

I run on a 12 volt battery because of a weak magneto. My car runs good but can be hard to start. Right now I have Motorcraft plugs set at .032. Would a smaller gap make the car easier to start?

So I have a starter switch on my 26. It's the kind that has the top part with the button held on with two screws. My question is how are the two studs that the battery cable attaches to not grounded together by the bracket that hols them? Should there be a rubber washer insulating the studs? I've been helping my friend (as he helped me) with the 1922 Model T he acquired recently. All had been going pretty well until today. Being that water is a more efficient coolant than antifreeze, I was thinking of using more water than the normal 50/50 ratio maybe 75/25, does any know the freeze protection at that ratio. I live in the mtns of Va and winters normally don't get much below 10 deg above zero. Thanks

I am experiencing poor idling (26 T with Kingston L4 carb). When I spray carb cleaner on either intake port area, the engine stalls momentarily. I have ordered replacement glands/rings. Guys: Looking for input. Got a block here that someone else has put modern valves in. Couple guides were bored off square with sear. Stick valve in and it is off center of tapper. Put pilot and not square with top of block. How to fix.

Just a quick note to let you know how my fix for tire slippage is working.

Changing from Universal T Drivers to Firestone Tires and coating the inside of the Clincher rim with pickup bed liner has stopped tire slippage on my T.

I just noticed thar my retainer has wear from the pin. The wear is .010” The part is .062” thick and worn area .052”
Would this be safe to use. Do not know what acceptable wear would be.

These 1911 E&J 666 headlamps (color photos) have 5 angled football shaped holes in both sides of each vent cap.
