These 1911 E&J 666 headlamps (color photos) have 5 angled football shaped holes in both sides of each vent cap.

However, Bruce Mcalley's book (black and white photos) shows the correct lamps as having either 5 small round holes or only 3 larger holes on each side of these cap vents.

While on patrol yesterday driving past an old junk yard I see this scrapper using a Weaver Baloon Tire Spreader. I had to stop. He uses this daily for fixing tires.

I’m “attacking” the box on my 27 rpu. I have a new rear U channel and am contemplating the attachment. I can buy the appropriate steel rivets locally. I'm working on a speedster and want to use a pressurized fuel system with a hand pump. Where can I get a pressure gauge that will read that low? I'm guessing I want something that reads 0-5 lbs. What should the pressure be on a sealed unit? 1-2 lbs?

I was recently given a tube of Hagerty metal polish. Never heard of it before. It's made in the USA, and has been in business for over 100 years. Doesn't even have a bar code on the tube, but does have an 800 number. Works well, and doesn't seem to have any abrasives.

I've seen references to this Ford publication for some time, but have not located a copy. The article below mentions that it is/was a 60 page brochure, and I'm sure it would be a great document to reproduce. If anyone has seen one, or knows of any literature collector who may have a copy, please let me know.

I need to re-line the AC auxiliary brakes on my '20 speedster, so I must remove the 1919 or so Hays wire wheels. The passenger side was removed without an issue, but the wheel on the driver's side won't budge.

What can I do to remove the hub? Is there a hub puller made specifically for these early wires?

I have a friend who recently bought a 26 Roadster Pickup on line. When it arrived, he found that it is missing the dash panel. Not the small switch panel, but the actual metal dash panel that the switch panel mounts in that runs from side to side. Is anyone reproducing these panels or will he have to try to find a used one?
