Yesterday we got a postal money order for 850.05 with no information but the persons name and address, we tried to call them but could not get a phone number, I took it to the post office to have it checked out, thinking scam, it was
they called their scam number

1927 Roadster, I'm replacing a chopped plastic windshield with a real glass two part one. I have reproduction stanchions and frames. I had safety glass cut to size, bedded it with bedding compound. I just picked up a pair of TT radius rods. I put pair in quotes because they're not exactly alike. Stumbled onto this while sourcing materials for the company I work for. This is taken from the ENERPAC website. Wonder if they are referring to the OE or aftermarket pumps?

Rebuilding my '26 coupe and found the usual gasket between the 4th main and the hogshead/engine pan end. It also had a gasket between the ballcap flange (p/n 2576) and the 4th main mating surface. I believe the only gasket should be the one to seal the 4th main to the transmission end, is this correct?

Recently, I acquired this unusual 26-27 NOS hub cap. The cap is nickle plated and the background around the Ford script and the entire underside of the cap are painted gloss black. I shared these pictures with Dan Trease before posting them here. He and I agree that someone other than Ford did the paintwork.

I am needing to press a new bushing into one of my triple gears. The engine appears to have maybe 1-2 thousand miles on it after new aluminum pistons and a ground crank done by an owner 30+ years ago. 2 gears and bushings are fine but one was loose making a rattle and the cotton low band deteriorated from age, necessitating the tear down. Down to the last step in drying in our T by attaching vinyl cloth. The kit I have came with long grain material and a 1/4 thick foam pad that goes on top of the slats covered with a canvas material. My question is how far do you extend the foam over the crest of the wood frame, do you not extend it in to the tack area or not?

Today I got to spend the day with two of my favorite people doing my favorite thing. I spent the day in the garage with my Dad, Russ Furstnow, and son Jordon. We were restoring the fenders for my son’s 1925 Model T pickup. It was absolutely fantastic to watch my Dad pass on his knowledge to Jordon. I am so proud of them both!!!

A friend is clearing our some old car stuff to make room for more clocks (go figure). He has these three lamps which look like Model T. One is marked Patent Oct 27 14.

Are these T lamps, and if so for what years, and what is a range of value? Anything else of note such the maker identified on the one chimney? Many thanks in advance.

I thought I read somewhere that the acetylene gas hose was not suppose to have clamps? But rather it just slips on the brass pipe? This was due to allowing the hose not building up to pressure?
The clamps I'm referring to are the brass ones that attach to the red hose. Any clarity on this

I have a set of 100 negatives taken from an unknown tour of western US. Negatives number 59 and 60 are of a wrtecked 1911 Model T Ford. I beleive the tour took place in 1912. The radiator does not have the Ford name and the filler neck looks different. I beleive it is a heavy duty radiator.

My cover has about .010 oval wear. When I use the centering tool, it has a slop in one direction. Do most used covers have that much wear? Does it matter?

I had bought replacement field coils for both of them.
Once I got them apart, I noticed the new field coils are much smaller than the originals.
Do they work as well? Do they burn out faster? Any difference in performance?
