Here in Wisconsin we have a stay at home order, but I can still drive my Model T anywhere. I understand in Michigan you cannot even go across the street to say hello to your neighbor. Any other states restricted? Florida maybe?

I just acquired a TT, or some of one, with a Ruckstell rear end. It is a typical TT worm drive otherwise.

I am looking for some tops/lids for Boyco gas/oil/water running board cans. I tried to find the chafing dish fuel cans as suggested in the past but they are not the right size on the brand I found.
I talked to Howell's Sheet Metal who makes new cans and holders but they have not found a source for the lids.
Any suggestions?

1926 touring will only stay running if starer stays engaged ? Once you take your foot off the starter button the engine stops.
Normally you hear a coil buzz but I hear nothing,

This roadster has a metal bracket on each side of the seat cushion base corners. This bracket fastens the seat frame to the wooden part of the seat rear support. Hard to describe this but hope someone might know what I am talking about and might show me a photo of it

Does anyone know how the glass reflectors were attached to the 1910 style E&J model 466 headlamp? I think the early Browns had three lead tabs that threaded into the body inside but I'm not familiar with how E&J did it.

The time came to reattach the exhaust pipe to the manifold today. I found that the plumbing wrench that I bought for .50 at the local flea market worked fine. Tomorrow I will clean the yellow paint off and restore it, giving it the attention it deserves. :)

Pictured is a Schrader 888 tire valve in a round felloe wheel. As you can see from the photos, there is ample room for the rim nut. The difference between the 888 and the 777 is 1/4 .

Sometime ago a valve failed in the engine of our '21 Touring. I am replacing all 8 original valves that were reused when the engine was rebuilt. I have been working to to adjust the emergency brake on my T, but I cannot get it right. I put the hand brake lever all the way forward and adjusted the front clevises until the brake cams were horizontal and the wheels free, but when I pulled the lever back to the neutral position (vertical), the wheels are locked. In among the T nuts and bolts I am sorting are a number of square headed bolts that I am not sure of. 1/2 inch diameter and head is 3/4 inch each side.

Rob's awesome history of Ford posts got me to thinking- we see a lot of history from the beginning of Ford Racing (Sweepstakes, 999, the Arrows) and later (The Ford Specials, coast to coast car, etc.) but very little about N/R/S vehicles used for racing.

I originally bought this NOS manifold for my U&J carburetor and even had Stan drill it to fit. Turns out that while the intake hole line up ... there is no room for the exhaust manifold. Anyone know its application?

Why would a 76 year old half crippled nut buy a 24 roadster in a hundred parts. I haven't even finished the 27 coupe I am working on. When sorting T parts my eye caught the variations in the Timing Cover Plate design (our Ts are Canadian, but I guess they copied the US versions closely). I have 2 pre-generator plates and 5 generator plates each different in terms of webs, heights of oil filler, baffles etc. There may be more variations but this is what I got from a pile of 8...

Have any of you good folks out there ever attempted to or better yet, had a positive outcome in replacing the rear spring U-bolts under a closed car, such as a Centerdoor without lifting the body ??????

I am going to use NOS Scandinavian bands. Langs has regular springs which they say are too short for most t's. They have more expensive longer -apparently stronger- springs for Kevlar and recommend them for all other bands. I have detachable bands if that matters.
Snyders has regular inexpensive springs that are longer.
