Hello! The top bows that came with a recent purchase on my 1915 Ford T Roadster are puzzling. I have searched a bit and found a pair similar on a 1922 Roadster Truck but im not convinced that was model specific. Any ideas of what I have here would be greatly appreciated!

My 1915 came to me with a Holly NH carburetor installed and an uninstalled, unrestored, Kingston L carburetor.

I believe the Kingston L carburetor would be a typical carburetor for my car when it was new.

What are the pros and cons of each carburetor?

How hard is it to rebuild a Kingston L?

The spark plug adapters from 1/2 pipe thread to 14mm are available, but what it you have a head tapped for 14mm and want to use standard T 1/2 pipe thread plugs? I guess you're screwed. I'd like to add an explosion whistle, but I don't know of any adapters for 14mm plugs.

$39,500. Claims it will go 100 mph. Rajo head, etc. Discounting whether that is wise or not (sounds dangerous to me) is that true on the 100 mph claim with a Rajo head?

Had my coils boxed up to bring to Chickasha with me but that isn't going to happen now. I understand R.V. Anderson is closing down for a few weeks. Is there anyone else out there that can help me set up the points and test my 1912 Kingston Coils? They don't fit in my strobo-spark. One coil was missing the points. Does anyone know the difference in the length, width and height when it comes to a 1924 and 1927 touring?

Wanting to change the oil in our 1926 T Pickup and was looking for advice on the type of oil to use. Looks like it takes 4 quarts (3 in trans & 1 in engine)

Yep, I never bothered with an annual drain (or more often).

But, Albert would not start.

I traced this back to no fuel in the carb bowl, then no fuel coming out the fuel line, then no fuel coming out the sediment bulb ….

The tank is easy to pull so I took it out and stripped down the sediment bowl, to find it full of water and thick green...

Took trans cover off to check bands and clutch adjust while looking at the clutch fingers one has a lot of play bad word **** the pin is all the way in and wont come out 1/4 in play don't know but think this is bad it drives fine don't here any thing broken plate tore up clutch disc o no $$$$$ lmao

We are replacing my speedster flywheel thanks to cracks from the triple-pin holes to the centre bore.

My NH 2-ball float valve is stuck closed. I have removed the carburetor and attempted without success to get the top ball to move freely. No luck. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good cleaning fluid that I can soak the valve in? I can buy a new valve - and I will if necessary, but I hate pitching the valve just because it has crud in it.

Drove to a car and coffee get together about 15 miles away this morning. Got there and no coffee or cars! LOL .. turned out that it was cancelled due to the Corona Virus. So on the chilly drive back home I drove by the old Kodak headquarters.

Change of plans, instead of going east I will be heading west and able to attend the Chickasha swapmeet. After the meet I will be heading south and east and south from chickasha with an empty trailer (6x12 enclosed). The route is roughly Chickasha, Houston, Panama City Beach, Key Largo.

The description is:

1917 model t ford. Condition is Used. All original motor is not running. Does have a transmission.

Check your fans. This one was making a rattling noise that I suspected had something to do with the fan a week before it threw the blade. I broke the opposite one off to get back home. New fans are only $12.50. Some how it didn't hurt anything.

I tested my Boyce MotoMeter today in a pan of hot water. I have never gotten my engine hot enough to see if it works. One curious thing I noticed is that the red fluid can only be seen on the back face. With the red fluid within the range of the circle, I can't see it from the front. Is this normal or do I have a goofy MotoMeter?

I have a 24 roadster that has a set of headlights with a bulb on top of the reflector and a single wire running between them and up to the terminal block (disconnected). This is in addition to the high and low beam bulb.
