I found a Ford Script stamped into the face of the frame's front crossmember, to the right of the crank/spring clamp. It is about 1/2 high. The car is a 1925 model T roadster. Is the unusual or normal?

Hi, I have a about 2 years old reproduction ignition switch. The black painted light switch handle and part that covers the outside of the key switch came off. Now the lights are on all the time. Finally got the seat cushion springs covered with the Classtique upholstery. i think it would have been easier with a second pair of hands. As it was it was a little like changing bands.

Hello my name is Wayne I got my hands on and E&J tail light I believe it's supposed to be black and brass or solid brass but it is solid nickel is there a way of removing the nickel I have a 13 touring which is brass and black and I was going to put this on that car everything else is E&J on the car

I have the Ford Bible but it only outlines the procedure to adjust the clutch fingers if the clutch is slipping. I have the opposite issue- the free clutch isn't. Iwould like to do a clutch adjustment starting at the fingers - then move on to the linkage. Is there a specification for adjusting the clutch fingers?

I would like to get rid of my water pump on my 1915 touring. With a 23 belt, my fan hits the crank start. I think a 23 1/2 belt would work but I can't find anything to fit. The model T belts jump from a 23 to a 25 7/8 My crank pulley measures 3.5 across. I just want belt that will go around the crank and fan. HELP! Bobt

I have a 1915 with the stock head and would like to know what spark plugs folks recommend. The vendors sell adapters for plugs with 14mm threads. The 14mm plugs are less expensive, do they perform as well? Thanks.

I am looking for guidance on using 20 AA rims on TT wheels. I have been told it is OK to remove the center from an AA rear rim and use the rim for TT. Aside from the fact that it ruins an AA rim that someone may need,

I removed the upholstery from the ‘23 runabout this evening. Throughout the removal I documented everything that would help me in the re-upholstering. Interestingly I found this blue cloth tied in a place that could only be reached during the original assembly of the car. The other thing I noticed was how few tacks were actually used.

Can anyone tell me where I can find a 3 screw magneto post with the external oil line connection? Mine works intermittently and before I try to fix it, I'd just like to just buy a replacement. Thank you.

We have been making the plate nuts for the radiator mounting kit for years at 2 3/8 long, in the past I have seen on this site that some feel it is to long, the originals were only just under a inch long and I think that was on early cars but no one liked them because they would spin, we have made this length for years just like the old...

I'm having some challenges with my 27 project: I'm not sure if the windshield frames are distorted or if the top clamps are spaced incorrectly. Can anybody post the correct measurement/distance between the top of the sanctions where the top clamps go?

All I want to do is regulate the amount of gas going to the headlights. Right now, I have no gauge at all and just crack the valve until I think I have enough going to the lights, then light them and regulate them. I want something that's vintage looking.

I have a Stipe 250 cam in a 1926 engine. 7.5 degree advanced bronze timing gear.
-My question- with the timing gear cover removed I have a camshaft lateral movement (in & out) of .0065 .
-Up & down movement of the camshaft is .005 .
Are these measurements withis tolerance or do I need to looking into finding a new front bearing?

After changing the bands we re-installed the transmission cover using Case 5 bots. How much torque should we use to tighten them?
How tight should the four starter bolts be torqued? Should these bolts be Case 2 or 5?
Any other torque specs we need to pay attention to?

Another thought on the bands, how tight should me make the bands before we use...

I replacing the rear tires on my 26 touring. It has wire wheels. And see that one seal leaked pretty bad so was going to replace both outer seals. But should I also do the inner seals?

I reinstalled the original windshield frame back into the body. The brackets that are riveted to the frame hit the posts that the knob for the sliders attach to and the brackets that the knob screws into is out of alignment with the sliders. Today I was troubleshooting my engine problem and removed the plugs for a look see. I was thinking to myself how good it felt to use an original ford wrench and wondered the amount of work it had done in its lifetime. Sure felt better than a craftsman. !!

Here is an area many people forget to oil. When needed, oil the clevis pins for the brake rods, and controller shaft, and what about the cam for the clutch? What about the Timer swivel joint on early cars? Something to think about.

Have watched the video by Classtique several times and can’t make out the tool they are using to crimp the channel for securing the seat cushion upholstery. Anyone have a picture? Is it just vise grips?

Does anyone have any idea what a SHAW Model T conversion with steel wheels on all 4 might weigh?

The frame has been shortened considerable with little to no sheet metal or body.

Funny, I never saw this on the front crossmember of my ‘23 runabout until yesterday when the light happened to rake across it in a parking lot. Any ideas of when this stamping was common on frames.
